Hi Guys! I am trying to get some LED lighting ideas for my single car garage deep enough to pull 2 cars in). I detail high end cars on the side so not using the halogen or LED stand lighting is the overall goal. I need lights bright enough to see the imperfections on the paintwork of the car, but not so bright that they wash out the swirls and scratches.
I already have 3 (or 4 cant remember) standard tube halogen units mounted on the ceiling. Can I simply throw some tube LED's in there and call it a day? What lights are recommended?
Another idea I had was to install some LED lighting on the walls, both sides of the vehicle. I was thinking a couple of track lights on either side would be cool since I can swivel them and slide them side to side on the track. Recommendations here?
This project is ultimately driven by budget and myself understanding what I need. I need to get out of dodge as cheaply as possible so ideas, comments and concerns are appreciated!
