I’ve done the first round of light upgrades in my shop - added a strip LED light, and converted 4 T8 fixtures to LEDs. (Thank you Platonic Solid as I used your suggeted light tubes and I am very happy with them.)
But I need more light so its time for phase two. Most of the threads here are on high bay lights, which will not work for my 9’ ceiling. It looks like my options are:
1. Buy two tube raw fixtures and plug in more LED light tubes. This would work, but I’d prefer 4 bulbs per fixture, plus I’d like a diffuser/cover so you don’t see the LED tubes.
2. Buy more strip lights. But since they typically run around ~4K lumens this is similar to #1 on fixture density.
3. Buy some inexpensive 4 lamp T8 fixtures with a cover/diffuser. Convert them to direct wire and plug in LEDs.
I am leaning towards number three now. Is there something that I am missing, or other better options?
