LED lighting question

So I`m setting up some 110v led lights in my safe . The problem is when I plug them in they seem to re energize the house wiring when plugged in. The lights in the next room come on even though the switch is off?
When I unplug the power from the led lights those lights in the next room go off .
I did crush the connection from the motion sensor to the led lights by closing the safe door on them so I stripped the wires back and soldered together.
The lights in the safe work just fine .

somehow you have compromised the integrity of the wiring and are apparently back feeding the circuit next door. Could have happened when you redid the motion sensor wiring, as that acts like a switch.

Not sure how you are getting power IN to your safe, as the door has to be thoroughly closed to seal and do it's thing? Outlet /hole drilled in one side??

Any way I would be VERY Careful touching the safe or other things nearby until this gets sorted out. For sure unplug the safe wiring until you are sure.

I have an outlet next to the safe with a cord running through to a plug so its insulated from contacting the metal sides of the safe.

Are the lights in the next room on the same breaker/fuse? If not, then it's backfeeding at the panel and probably backfeeding elsewhere that you haven't noticed yet.

Not sure I know what I'm talking about, but I'm at least I'm trying to help, and a start conversation toward solution:
The motion sensor 'switch' is it switching
1)hot (black) or
2_Neutral (white)?
and the wiring from the motion switch to the LED transformer is it polarized consistently (hot/neutral)?

Well it looks like I wired up the outlet that feeds the led set up to a light circuit instead of a outlet circuit.
So I`m having a sparky mate of mine come over and help me identify the correct wire to T into.
