Hi,
I've been really inspired by everyone's pics of their garages. I decided it was time to share. I am fixing up a 1 car garage. It had one small light in it with no outlet. One wall was open studs so I used the opportunity to run a circuit of 4 outlets and a circuit for overhead lights. I installed these http://www.homedepot.com/p/Lithonia-Lighting-4-ft-Surface-Mount-White-LED-120-Volt-Strip-Light-MNSL-M6/203409289?MERCH=RV-_-RV_nav_plp_rr-1-_-NA-_-203409289-_-N

I'm pretty happy with them as they fit perfect under the 2x4 beans overhead.

$99 a pop is a bit high, but I can think of some uses already. I'd be tempted to mount one on the back of the garage door so it could provide light when the door was up and that light pointing down.

I'd pop on it if it was $50. $99 is a bit too much for me.
