LED Lowbay wiring question?

So I bought some of these lights that came out of a retail location that have been up less than a year. They are Mini Lunabay by Hubble Industrial Lighting LBS360LU4KA2WA16WH . They have the box mount plate and harness intact, just clipped from the building wiring. Some of them have an extra wire (blue) in addition to the RGW . Other than getting them here, I haven't opened anything up. Is there anything special to know about these lamps as far as care and installation? I'll be running new wiring for these. Is there any reason to run these at 220V at all? What's the blue lead for? Thanks in advance.

If it has a box mounting plate, then the wiring on it was provided by someone other than Hubbell, most likely. Why they used blue is unknown. It could be a number of things. Figure out if you can just remove the entire wiring and be sure the driver is of universal voltage. The "U" in the part number indicates that it is, but I would double check it. If so, just use your own wiring, black/white/green.
Nice fixture.
Good luck,
CD

I personally would not wire any lights at 240V in a residential settings. I also believe its against code.

I don't believe multi-volt LED drivers have a noticeably better efficiency at 240V vs. 120V either.

Perhaps the blue wire is for dimming? 0-10V input perhaps? The sales sheet says they're available with dimming, but the install sheet doesn't say anything about it.

Good point on the harness not being OEM. I'll get a look inside. I made the assumption that the capability for the various line voltages could have been for export, but wasn't sure. Thanks folks for your input.

I was wondering if you figured the wiring out yet? I was researching these lights after seeing your other post about picking these lights up. The ad said that they could be tested before purchase. We're you able to test them out, or did you buy them untested?

I know nothing about these types of lights, but I'm buying a new home and planning to put a shop or steel building on the property. Would these lights be a good choice? What would a comparable light cost if I bought it brand new? I'm about 3 hours away, but would consider driving to get them if they are a good choice.

The part number LBS360LU4KA2WA16WH doesn't match the spec sheet. Is it possible to translate the part number to current spec sheet?

Yes, I drove there and saw all the lights were operational. They were hung at ~ 12' and spaced accordingly. They I think are 4K low output. I wired one into a power cord and hoisted it up and it will work great in my shop. I pulled the cover on one and in fact the blue wire was capped. Dunno why it was there, so standard 120V wiring. They The seller is the one leasing the space which will become a spa type place , so the bright retail lighting had to go. Even the toilets weren't right ...She has a huge stack of distressed wood 1x6 or maybe 1x8 too. They just want to have a clean slate so construction can be started. You have to do this now or it will be gone.

Thanks for the information. I sent an email to the seller, hopefully I can head up there this weekend. Any idea how many of these you can put on one 15A circuit? Since you saw them operational, how many lights do you feel you need for a given area? One light per 10x10 area, for example?

Amps on the label were .93 -.44 A They had previously installed them with 12 AWG wire, likely due to the high number of lamps. 10x10, 12X12 should be good depending on height from what I saw. Hope that it works out for you! BTW they come with a nice heavy conduit which will likely be 3' long and mount plate for the box. I took the shorter ones. So should you need to break them down to haul them you would need a hex key set and pipe wrench /pump pliers, though there is a hardware store across the street if you forget.
