I've screwed two Edison-base LED floodlights into classinc motion sensing fixtures. Does that count? :) Sorry can't comment on your models as I've not used them.

In my case the motion sensing (heat sensing?) part of the assembly died or went flaky long before the bulbs. Example: one turns on when its really windy ?!?!?

3000-5000 lumens is enough, and with built in motion sensors there is no need to add one. Security it not the issue, but lighting up the driveway for visitors is.

My other choice is this barn light from Northern Tool. It allows for a 300 W bulb. Problem is it would need a motion sensor added, plus I not sure how much snow load it could take.
