I would like to put up some LED strip lights, I understand most are 12volt or 24 volt DC, and I will need a converter to run off of the 120vac house power, but I want to put Ina dimmer switch, and I would like to wire it and fit it to a conventional wall plate. Do they make 12 volt dimmers in a wall plate style switch? I also know they sell kits on amazon and ebay and such, but I don't want a cheap battery operated remote or wired remote designed as stand alone (not made to fit in a wall plate). Any options?

Thanks, I can't get the link to work, but poking around figured it out, you can get 12 volt converters where the dimmer is wired into the 120 and goes to the converter, I was trying to do it the other way around, which is possible too, but hard to find a wall switch. You put me on the right track.
