I am ready to order lights for my shop build. I will be ordering LED ready T8 fixtures, but I noticed it comes in 2 flavors; I can get the fixture with single end power or double end power. I can also order the LED's in both flavors as well. Just wondering if there is a 'best' or recommended way to do it?

My advice is to search for the bulbs first. Sometimes its easier to get one style or the other.

I recently installed ~500 double ended LED bulbs at work. I picked those because re-wiring was a lot easier.

Get double end. The industry has almost completely abandoned single end. Most of the bigger manufacturers dont even make them anymore. In the future, they'll be harder and harder to find.

I know you are starting from new fixtures, but I started out with a small few single ended lights that I had to convert using provided tombstones. I quickly switched to the double ended power because I feel they are easier to have around for retrofitting other older fixtures and having just one style.
