I found this LED worklight at Lowes the other day. It was marked down to $19.97, so I thought I would try it out. My Costco "Snap On" 2,000 lumen light is too bright to use under the hood, but this 700 lumen light gives enough light without the glare. It is compact, light weight, and the mounting "feet" are thin flat bar that should be easy to adapt to a magnet or other means of mounting.
The photos show it hanging from the hood of my Ford F250 using S-hooks. I used one on a mounting foot and the other holds the cord out of the way near the edge of the hood.
This light comes with a 16-foot long adapter cord that plugs into a cigarette lighter plug. It should come in handy on the road and other places away from power.
