The craftsman one is decent and is only ~28 on sale. I have heard bayco lights are solid options as well.

balco worklights. they are at walmart, rechargeable and fair priced. i used one daily at a small engine shop i worked at, lasted all day if you made sure you turned it off when not in use. plug it in at night and you were good to go.

Search for uview 413310. I posted a review a while ago. I've been much happier with this than either my craftsman or bayco LED rechargables.

Something you want to carry on the fly with you like a work light? Something in your tool box?

Blue Point Penlight! Best $50 I spent...two different light variations...peep hole or 1/2 the side lights up and has a magnet to stick places.

my craftsman one doesn't seem to stay at a high brightness for very long, which is very disheartening, i was excited when i got it. and it can stay well-lit for maybe 15 minutes, and then needs to go on the charger again... i've just been using it as a corded unit since the brightness is night and day when it is plugged in vs on the battery.

National Electric slider 75033. We use these at work and I was so impressed with them I bought one for the garage. Has a light on the end too as well as a magnetic base/pull out hook. I think I paid $35 with shipping. I think they claim 6 hours on a charge but I only charge it about once a week.

I actually left mine under the hood of the truck for 3 days. When I found it it was still attached to the firewall and still lit just a little.

ATD's Saberlight is around 50$ for the 30 led model, rechargeable Li-on battery.

They are pretty good, just not crush proof. Mines down to about 22 led's now.

You can find a used Streamlight Stinger on evilBay for probably close to $50 if you are patient. Otherwise they are unholy expensive. The LED kit, however, is probably about $25 to $35.

I have the Harbor Freight LED worklight. The upside is it's cheap, bright, and rechargeable. The downside is the light is VERY directional.

I've found a Dewalt CFL worklight to have much better performance. Since I already have 18V Dewalt tools, it made sense to add it to my collection. It will run 3.5 hours per battery. I have multiple batteries, so no worries of it running out.

I can light up half a room with the protective cover in place, or the entire room if the cover is removed (simply twist and lift it off).

i've been trying to find a good led pen size work light for a bit, can't find one if anyone has a lead that would be awesome.

looking for led style that streamlight uses. the chip LED (forget the type). with the leds on the side of the pen for those times when you need both hands free and don't want to **** around with throwing on a headband light or something similar.

Never seen one with lights on the side, but i have the streamlight stylus pro at work, its awesome. Very heavy duty, super bright for its size. never used one but for more of a flood light pattern the maxxeon workstar 220 is supposed to be good. Theres also the streamlight stylus if you want smaller and less light, and a harder to find battery.

My EDC is a Sipik SK68 clone, ebay, amazon, etc about $8 shipped, kinda fat, but its short and uses one normal AA battery, I use Eneloops.

Maybe something like the EZred pocket, $10 to $20 shipped.
