I've kinda asked before, but still a bit confused on my best options. I am wanting to add a small loft to my metal garage. I understand how to do it all except for attaching the ledger board on the two sides of the garage it will be on. What i think are the best ways is to either 1) use TEK/self threading screws and attach the ledger board right into the tubular steel studs, or bolt 2x4s to the sides of the tubular steel studs and then lag the ledger board to them. Please let me know what you think is best?? Thanks!!
