My guess is 1965.....when they also ditched those stupid tapered rear axles.

I had a 1966 Sport Fury and pretty sure it did not have tapered axles.
back in the day, my buddy's '69 roadrunner got a flat on left rear, he did not know they had LH threads until I told him that night

I bring up this thread because I was changing out a flipper handle on a toilet this morning and didn't realize it had left hand threads until after I destroyed the plastic threads.
It was a good thing they were plastic because I would have hated to break the tank being ignorant.

Anyway my question to you is where and on what have you found left hand threads?

Toilet- flush lever
Bicycles- left pedal
Some old Chrysler- wheel studs

Maybe I missed it but did no one mention circular saw blade bolts?

My ACE has left hand bolts and, I think, even nuts.
It is worth calling around.

Just about every Tie Rod on every Car has both Right and Left hand threads on them to adjust toe in/out. Roundy Round dirt modified cars heve both front and rear suspension arms use right and left threads for infinate adjustment of the suspension.
