Leg vise

Hi fellow vintage tool lovers. I just bought a leg vise in upstate ny that came out of a barn and was there for a least 100 years . It is in the English style,3&1/2 inch jaws and 50 pounds . Cannot find any marks . It was the filthiest tool I ever cleaned. Research tells me it could be much older . Any thoughts ?

Looks exactly the same as one that I have, but cleaner! Mine has been used in the family for at least 100 years, but may be older...

I can see that it's got nice finishing- beveled edges on the joint plates, turned detail on the rear of the nut. Very nice, I'm a bit jealous.
