Leland Faraday (Leeson) Bench Grinder

I recently acquired this bench grinder and am curious to know how old it is. Does anyone know what year the "BP" date code represents?

Information in their tech document (http://www.leeson.com/Literature/pdf/1050/MotorTechnicalInfo.pdf) does not provide dates.

A member on OWWM has the exact same model # grinder. It was made in 1979. The tag looks slightly different than yours:
