So I just picked up a new in the box Lennox G60DF 90,000 BTU Furnace off of craigslist for $400 with a propane conversion kit. I have an existing chimney to vent it through. But is it possible to hang it from my rafters or should I just leave it on the ground?

Thanks

Is it a multi-positional style furnace, or single orientation only? Many furnaces are the multi style, but upflow only furnaces have to be installed vertically.
I don't know the Lennox nomenclature offhand - but if you call Lennox and give them the model/serial numbers they can tell you what style you have.

This is a downflow model

Here is the exact model # G60DF-36B-090.

What I need to know is what or how would y'all mount this in a garage? Free standing or hang it? What are my options.
