Anyone have any experience with Lennox garage heaters? The builder is installing this unit in my daughter's new condo in Helena, Mt. I had always heard of Lennox in whole house units, but didn't know they made stuff for the garage.

Any comments? Ralph.

Google their website and check it out. I had a Lennox dealer quote me a garage heater and thought his was going to be Sterling. The Lennox may be a re-branded Sterling.

The major manufacturers that I'm familiar with are: Sterling (has Garage Guy), Reznor, Modine (has Hot Dawg), Mr Heater (has Bigg Maxx). Virtually all are the same 80% to 83% efficiency.

I've posted this here before, but it might bear repeating.

Modine makes a line of high efficiency, closed combustion hanging heaters under their "Effinity 93" line. I highly recommend them. They are VERY pricey....but that heater may last 25 to 30 winters...so pay now or pay later. "Pay now and start saving" is my philosophy.

I don't know on the Lennox unit heater. I know some HVAC guys that are really down on that brand...I think it may be that their spare parts are really expensive IIRC. Maybe someone that works HVAC can confirm or deny this.

It's an ADP unit heater, the ADP version would say Cayenne on it.

I've put a few in of both the Lennox and ADP versions, both seem as trouble free as any other brand I've installed.
