got an update. I got the pipe tap, ran it down pretty much by hand on the large lower hole, cleaned up some gunk. The larger top hole was a bit more work and it definitely cleaned the threads up a bit. I did notice there was decent amount of damage to the threads, a little bit where I cut in, and then some jagged looking ones in the back and one near the front. I doped the **** out of both of them, and I was able to get them to take more threads. I will have to fire it up later and see how, if, it holds pressure. First I need to get another pressure gauge, the one on the tank was junk.
