Ok, this may not be real dial up friendly but here it goes...

We bought the land in 2004:

This is how we got to and from the "pizza land":

Amish built the 30x40 12' ceilings down and full 10' upstairs barn in October 2004:

April 2004 started the "house" which when the Log house is complete will be a 3 car garage with 2 offices and a bathroom.

Laying all the block, 5 high, 144' of it... hard work, I slept very well for those weeks...

Got all the radiant heat pipe and Trench Drains in:

Pouring the 5" thick 4000psi w/ Fiberglass mesh:

finishing up, trench is high, as we will be putting ceramic tile in.

Floor is in and walls are going up:

Moved in October 2005, outside still in house wrap.

Spring 2006 put up Board and Batten Siding that dried all winter in the barn.

This years project was a deck and a addition to the barn for "lawnmowers and 4 wheelers and .... kids toys....etc... 25'x40' should do The wife told me as long as she gets the deck, I can get the "leanto" on the barn... Never gave me any limitations, so....

Sorta skipped a head with that one but oh, well...

November 06 put in the 5-6" concrete floor in the 30x40 section of the barn:

Scale model of the log house I made, no windows yet, cuz you never know where the boss wants em till you need to move em!!!

I just wish I could give it miracle grow and expand 24 times it's size!!!

Enough room to work on all 3 if needed, It is nice beoing able to wash the dooley inside during the winter and be able to go all the way around it...

Future holds insulation, painted floor, drywall, and a finished off upstairs.

Still need to finish the doors on the leanto and it also needs some concrete. I could probably be a little further along but I "had" to have the truck.....

Get the house done and the chevelle can go sleep in the 3-car garage in style...

I have done everything myself except for the concrete placement and excavating.. We did some drywall (my wife took the lead on that and the ceramic tiles) We had all the drywall for the ceiling too but I didn't want to do it, so I ordered up the tongue and groove, the wife varnished it and I got a finish nail gun out of the deal and a ceiling that once it was up all I had left to do was admire it...

The log house is probably 3-5 years away, but I will be doing that myself as well... I took a course on how to do it out in Seattle and I will be ready!!!

Looking very good. I like the log cabin idea. You can never seem to have enough garage space do you? I have a 26x24 garage on the house and a 30x36 in the backyard and I'm thinking man a nice 10x10 for the lawn care stuff would be great, no wait a 12x12, or a 14x14.....you see where this is going......

Very nice setup! I like how you incorporated the drain trenches in with the in floor heating. Looks like you threw a few more blocks than I'm going to have to.
