Duro had one in that style for a year or two
i forgot about that one. i think i had at one point. as well as the williams ones. i think most brands had those styles for a bit. not sure how far i should go with it quite yet cause that always leads to wanting the full sets that go with them ha and i already went down that road n back in the little time i been collecting

I pulled a partial rail of 1/2" Snap-on sockets out of a rusty bucket a few weeks back for a couple of bucks. They look like they have been together all along as a set. Looking them over after a little clean up I see I have some E code and G code sockets. Also a couple have what looks like a lower case e. Were some E coded sockets marked this way? If not an e what else would it be? A few pics. Ed.

Thanks OTG. Makes sense I suppose. I guess I can see where that could be a stylized 2. I'd expect that impression of a 2 more in the Timothy Leary influenced mid 60's though. :)

Hey all! I just acquired these 2 mid chests from a barn clean out here in Oregon. As near as I can tell these are snap on? The holes where an emblem would have been are 5-1/8 center to center. They have been repainted but are extremely straight and not beat up. Someone removed the badges and the slides from them 🙄. Does anyone know what years they were offered ? Also does anyone have the badges or slides for them? I need 8 slides

hello fellow collectors and the like. ill try to keep this as short as i can. i hope this isnt too much of a breach of Etiquette, but this is just about the only thread ive even interacted on and im hoping it will give me the best odds of success in the following request.
i am in search of a few items that i am willing to purchace or trade for. i will attach pictures of a few things im not super attached to and would be willing to trade.
i am in search of an A-15 and A-22 and
A-36 drag link sockets
and 1926 7/16 11/16 1" and any oddball size 4 point sockets.
1927-1929 style 6 point 5/8 drive sockets 3/4" and 7/8" plus any 5/8 drive 4 point sockets and any 7/8 drive sockets.
any specialty sockets especially 36-F and 35-F
HD-4 speeder and 7/8 drive adapter plug
HD-11 nut spinner
current priority are 4 point sockets
and i would be happy to work out some type of deal for any brass tag super service set but not holding my breath on that one or any of this.
i am currently trying to complete a full set of all sockets in as good a condition as i can find. and also trying to figure out the best way to display since some are either oddball and dont go with any sets or dont even show up in cats at all. its a little tricky moving around all of the different things i have that i am willing to part with in order to categorize them by what kind of things i would need to get for them but basically any of the midget sets (that currently most the snap on sockets are in one box) i wouldnt need anything too special but the williams and mtf ones would be a little harder to part with. the picture of all the sockets and stuff together are fairly common so dont expect much. the loop handle and sd7 and sg7 and pinched long T i would need something decently rare and the near mind ferret set i would really need something as i could never replace it in this condition and anything else you see just throw me an offer or something. everything pictured are things i can part with besides the 4 point sockets in the standard service set. i have more i can part with but this was getting a little tedious. please private message me if you are willing to deal

Found an interesting extension out of my cleaning pile today. Pretty sure this might be a 5/16 to 3/8? My 9/32 rat is too loose. If I recall correctly it's labeled FM-11-E
