A couple of Crowfoot Wrenches; S-8662 & S-8661, 1949
Caster-camber adjustment, 1949-1950 Ford cars. S-8661A is for Fords and the S-8662A fits Mercury and Lincoln.

Snagged this Whitworth double offset DBE this morning. The bad news is it's kind of scrungy with box rot. The good news is it's wartime.

I was trying hard to make it fit in '87 but judging by the photo, the angle between the top and leg is more acute in the '87. I'm going to have to agree with Don's initial assessment and say '57.

The wrench part number and style are not from the 50s. This is a 50s style 4 way angle wrench. It's a 1987.

Outsider to Snap-on stuff here, I don’t see the drop at the leading edge of the ‘57 7 when I zoom in, it’s just a shadow.

Snap~on script in use in 1987 doesn't match what's on the wrench, '57 would be correct.
Impossible based on the style of wrench and part number. Take a look at the photo I posted above, that's a 1950s vintage wrench.

Sometimes due to the dies used or stamping the year stamp is not always clear or consistent. Also, there are a couple of different charts floating around the internet with minor differences in the way the date stampings are defined. In addition to that, Snap-on sometimes used/uses older name logo stamps on tools that weren't as commonly made. I've gotten brand new tools with old style logo stampings.

I do not remember if I posted this one yet.
Snap On DHP8A pliers. I read that it's for GM door handle removal (models 1940s-50s). Tried to find online how they were used, but no luck.
...will pass it to the next person since I doubt I will ever use them...

I’ve got a set. I think mine are K-D. They fit the window crank clip.

I dug this sorry specimen out of an old wooden toolbox at the flea market this morning. Originally, before it was whittled down to this size, it was an A-26 (3/4" blade) drag link bit, which is the smallest they made, along with an A-15 (1-1/4") and A-17 (1"). I've found and still have a few of these over the years, all wartime production, placed into GMTK's that have been moved onto others, but this is the oldest (1932 date code) I have ever found.

This is a new one for me... appears to be a 1/4" to 3/8" drive adapter? I looked in the 1928 Catalog and only found the current style of adapters shown. Anyone familiar with this one?

I always like finding Snap-on tools at estate sales. I particularly like finding Vacuum Grip tools in good condition. Found these today. I didn’t see any date codes. As shown on the Garage Sale Thread, I picked up a few SO items the other day.

Complete TK-560 Tune-O-Kit. In the '50-'55 catalogs.
09 Dec 22-3a.jpg

MV 71 Ratchet. No date code and I can't seem to find it in any of the cats online.
09 Dec 22-3b.jpg

TRF-7A Rethreader Die Set. Found in the '62 catalog
12pt Flare Nut Crowfoot Set from '65. No catalog I can find shows a 12pt set--only 6pt.
SVP-70-K Midget Punch & Chisel Set. Individuals stamped either '61 or '62
A-157A Bushing Driver Set. Drivers stamped Snap-on and '60. Why the Blue-Point logo?

Some odd pieces: Snap on adjustable spanner, model 2425. probably war era. Snap on flare nut line wrench, model 2643. 43 code. We yapped about the BP and SO 22xx model numbers in other threads, these seem related, but not sure.
Now, the really odd thing, these should be Blue Point, as all these types of wrenches were branded during this era, and for years after. Most likely for some war set.IMG_4822.JPGIMG_4823.JPGIMG_4824.JPG
