Well, looks like this threads over, and is only just began! :lol_hitti
Nice looking Combos, Twertsy! Your collection is amazing.

Here's a combo that probably never saw much use. Does this even qualify as a 'combo'?

Nope, those aren't vintage, but they are combos.

New Britain metric on one side and SK RP on the other. Ignore the DBEs

1990s polished SK, long SAE and short metric.

I also have a set of RP SK metric wrenches I need to take pics of, plus some other partial Bonney sets.

Nice Sam! I really like those Bonney wrenches.
I've got a set of Bonney combos that I've been slowing accumulating. I think these are 50s vintage. I'd like to get the DBEs as well.
I've got #s 1166; 1165; 1164; 1162; 1159 (broken boxed end)

Interesting. I didn't know that. I uploaded some pics of both wrenches to your site.
Thanks! I have a few uploaded too but mine are streamlines I believe. I was told directly by the "other source" that they have to be mistakes. A mistake 3 years later...........?

I found a couple of oddballs.
A pair of JC Penny combos

And, while not the traditional combo wrench, I would think this old Cornwell would still qualify...:dunno:

Some more....

SK metric RP set that is. Close to completion.

Mixed set I have hanging on the wall in the store room in my home shop. Williams, SK, another style of New Britain, Herbrand, and Craftsman. The 1/2" is a Proto brand, challenger IIRC.

Gentlemen, I am in awe of the depth of your collections. Sam and Twertsy, good showing. Twertsy, that Bon-E-Con set looks a lot like the Bonney 237xx set I am working on. I'll post pictures after I take them.

I have both been looking forward to, and dreading this thread. I love it because I want to see and learn and dread it because now I need to organize and photograph my collection.

Great collections, all!

My favorite set of combos is the set of Plomb pebbles that I put together one piece at a time. As you might guess the largest wrenches and the smallest wrenches were the toughest to find. Don't even want to know what I ended up spending to complete this project. But I love them and use them and they just look great hanging on the wall of the garage.

Some good stuff gentlemen!

D42jeep nice set of new Britain made Penncraft. I have a partial set of Sparta metric i need to get pictures of.

I'm jealous of the pebble set, but I have been avoiding starting a set cuz I know I won't be able to stop. I already have to many sets I'm working on currently.

Here's another I found while digging around in the shop this morning. A Vanadium Tool Co. set I'm also working on.

Silver Deck: i gave up my pegboard for hanging tools in most of my small garage now cause of shelving and cabinets, but the way your Plvmb pebble wrenches look up there I might reconsider hanging a few of mine cause that looks like a masterpiece. WELL DONE and are they your daily users too?

Twertsy: thanks for starting a thread cause you should be the host of one of these. as the rainy season gets going i'll have more garage time to GET ORGANIZED and hopefully post up a few pictures of mine.

ALL: Keep posting and just cause i didn't mention your post with pictures doesn't mean i didn't enjoy looking and reading about them as i'm sure others do the same.

2. Plomb War Finish 5/16-3/4 (extra 7/16, looking for 13/16 and up)
3. Plomb/Proto Dual Marked (LMK if you can help fill in some gaps)

I don't collect combination wrenches, just wanted to say I was impressed, particularly with the pegboard Plomb collections, and to tease d42jeep and User Name Already In Use that they change avatars more often than I change my underwear.
