Ok. I just spent 1.5 hrs searching for a thread I have seen before. I've used advanced search in about every way possible. If I don't get a "see" is too common a word, I get not founds or tons of unrelated threads.

Just wanted to find "Let's see your toolbox"...I know it is out there.

It appears that the most popular threads are often those where people post the stuff they have or have done. I learn the most by looking at pictures and not reading poorly written text.

Like most, I want to see an application. So much knowledge can be shared by a picture. If this forum had a section/category where the threads associated with "show us your..." then we all could learn alot and enjoy alot much easier.

You shouldn't need a graduate degree in boolean and wild card searching to use a search function effectively.

Can't explain why it doesn't show up with "search", but if you look in the "sticky for stickies" thread in the General Tools Discussion section, you'll find it.

Advanced search, quotation marks, and search title only, and only two things popped up. Here you go http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=466&highlight=Let's+see+your+toolbox

doesn't help if you don't know EXACT title. but thanks, i tried every rendition of quotes and title and every other feature of advanced search. without knowing title the search function doesn't work correctly. If i put "Let's see your" and search by title it should render every thread with that in the title. It doesn't. "Instead it says no matches."
