I was at my local muffler shop today and he had a really cool soda machine. It looks like a gas pump. I thought I would share it with you all. It was taken with my phone, so it's not the best shot.

Here are mine.

Ideal Model 55 Pepsi "slider". Holds bottles. 10 cent. I restored it 17 years ago. Problem is finding bottles that will fit in the slide rail track and vend properly.

LaCrosse Pepsi upright. Holds cans. 10 cents. Unrestored, "survivor" that is in everyday use. Will vend anything that comes in a can!

1950's Bastian-Blessing soda fountain. Fully operational with CO2 soda water and six flavors of syrup to make real, old fashioned drinks!

I've got pinballs and jukeboxes in the garage, but the soda machines are way cooler, because it's hard to wash down a burger with a song!

Neat machines everyone.
I remember when I was a kid, it was a real treat when my dad would give me a handfull of penny's and let me buy a bottle of soda. Times were ruff then but I can't think of a better time to grow up!

Jim, if you ever get near the Quad cities area, Rock Island etc, the local Pepsi bottler still bottles a lot of the stuff in the small bottles. I was told there was still a large market locally for it. They use 6 pack carriers printed in Mexico and it was a trip back in time the first time I saw them about 10 years ago. We stop off and stock up every time we go thru every 6 months or so. Joe
