Here's my set... I don't really like the clip strips but they take up less space.

I don't care for the clip rails either but, same as you guys, they are space savers. I ripped stips of 3/4 thick wood an inch or so wide and screwed the rails to them. Painted the wood grey for metric and red for sae and stand them upright as you have yours in the top tray of my chest. Works and is cheap. I can buy more sockets for the money saved:bounce:

When I had my tools at the shop, I pop-riveted the socket rails to the drawer bottom in my socket drawers so they wouldn't fall over when I rolled my box around. It worked well, but was a hassle to change the layout if necessary.

Now that they are at home, I just stand the rails up in the top of a chest, because it doesn't need to move. I think the Hansen trays are nice for access, but I would need twice as much space for sockets if I was using them.

Very impressive

Yes, 6pt and 12pt. All the impacts are 6pt. I do need to pickup some swivel's but Im pretty well set for now.
