Let's see you mark and measuring drawer

So I got a new box and the drawer instrughle with the most to keep organised is the mark and measure drawer, it's always a mess of rulers, divider, stud extractors caliper a mics and all sorts of **** so let's see how you guys have got this on lock down? Cheers

i keep most of my machinist tools (mostly starret) in a seperate box, stored in the basement, away from the heat and cold of the garage

i have a spare set of dial calipers, 1" mic, and a couple of (garage sale) squares in the garage.

I'm talking measuring tools and other misc **** that gathers in one draw! You know those bits of metal you can't bring yourself to scrap

Ditto. As part of my last major tool box reorganization a few years back I purchased a nice vintage machinist's tool chest off of eBay and transferred all my precision measuring tools into that box to protect them more and free up space in my main box.

Note the "do not eat" in the upper left corner. I think i have onbe of those in every drawer. And the felt is 100% wool, glued down with wall paper paste.

Here's an update, I now have two drawers full of ****, all my verniers, mics and dtis are I. Case at the bottom of the box
