Well, we have a garage sale thread over in general tools and a Craigslist thread. But since auctions aren't on the same scale as dealing with individuals and no competition, I think it needs its own thread. I know auctions are mentioned here and there but I haven't seen a dedicated thread. If there is one please beat me up now and destroy this thread:D

Rules are:
You must honestly post the price you paid for each item
Post pics. (If you don't know how to, ask!)
Also report on things you bid on and lost out and at what price.
BE READY FOR THE HAMMERING IF YOU MADE A POOR PURCHASE.

I'll start:

Here is today's haul
GRACO commercial paint rig $70
Vintage Craftsman table saw with table $15
Craftsman mini 4" jointer $5
Vintage Craftsman belt sander table $20
Wilton Shop King 4 1/2" vise $25
Total $143.80 after tax

What I bid on but didn't win (sorry, no pics. My phone battery died before I got to the bidding.)

Vintage oil dispenser can that looked brand new. Bid $5, sold for $12.50
Vintage Snap-On 10 drawer top box full of random tools (had my head up my *** never got a bid in was willing to go to $100) sold for $55
Vintage Black and Decker router new with metal case and all paper work looked like it was bought yesterday. Sold for $35 first and only bid. (Was willing to pay $20)
125lb anvil (all I could read was made in.... PA) bid $100 lost it for $175
