Looking for locker organization ideas. I just got my epic locker today and haven't even taken it of the pallet yet. :rocker: so rather than dig thru all the toolbox thread I'm asking you guys to do a locker only thread. I figure I should free up a lot of space in my 68 by moving all the cases, just curious of what has worked for everyone else.

Epiq lockers a huge, but I still had to spend some time getting everything to fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. I'm not sure how I ever went without them.

I love my KRL locker so much, I just ordered another one! These pictures are about 2 years old right after i added it. Its pretty full now. Anyone added anything else to the doors? Thinking about a way to store my 3ft 3/4 ratchet standing up on the door somehow.

I took one of the big screwdriver holder that come with the epiq lockers and hung a few things on it. On the other doors, I have the usual can holders, and also got one of those test lead organizers to hang test leads on.

I still would love a decent explanation on why every line of snap on lockers come with casters except the master series. Drives me crazy

Matt, do you keep your chargers in your hutch? Can't decide if I wanna put them in the locker. I don't have a hutch yet, will probably build one.

Yeah...the locker sagging on my old KRL set up and having casters under the Epiq series locker was definitely a factor for me deciding to trade up.

I don't think I have any detail pic's, but here's mine:

Bulky, rarely used cases in the bottom, most often used big cased items up top, then bellow is over-sized / odd tools that get used only about once every 6 months and the middle drawers are all the weird **** that is not actual tools - electrical bits, fittings and so on.

When I first had my KRA, I got the locker for it as soon as I knew it was introduced. It was very handy for boxes, chemicals and storing odd and ends. When I traded up to a KRL, I didn't replace it and didn't really miss it. I then got a couldn't pass up deal on a used one, even the right color so I grabbed. Had it for about two years before I resold it for more then I bought it for. It was just a **** collector and didn't really serve a useful purpose for me. Big thing was I didn't need to keep everything locked up being the only guy in the shop. On the flip side if I was just another guy in the shop and moving around the shop, I could see one.

I have a KRL and wanted a locker. I ended up buying a used Vidmar locker and love it. Obviously it doesn't hang off the side, but I want to save my $$ for a hutch and overhead storage bin, someday.

I thought I saw a picture before of someone putting a epiq locker on a krl. Has anyone ever done this?

Man I don't miss the dust k-dog. Is your box matte blue? I've been outta the body shop for 3 yrs now, still find the dust in and on stuff at random lol. I like the right side. Starting to think I should have got some extra drawers. You keep guns in your hutch? I still have some of mine in a small side cab I hope to eliminate with the locker.

yeah a better man would have dusted before taking the photos....

I give the box a good cleaning every two weeks or so.

Yeah its a matte blue. They had a small box, matte blue with the black handles on it on the truck one day. I fell in love. As fate would have it I was in need of a bigger box, so that just set the ball rolling for me.

I am strictly on the body side so I dont own any paint guns.

Gotcha. I floated, and worked in a couple combo shops where we did start to finish. Now I wrench, mainly trans r&i at the latest gig. I too liked the matte blue, but was afraid of the dust sticking to it when I bought my box. Plus I got a killer deal on my scratched epic. Someday I'll paint that drawer....
