Ok get your mind out of the gutter, not that rack, the one that you store your project metal on. I have chunks of metal all over the place and need to build some kind of rack to hold it all in one place. Pictures would be great.

I dont have pictures but we have a old barn that is barely a barn. We store stuff in there. We got an old truck for parts, some steel pipe, angle iron, sheets, etc. Its got all sort of metal and parts. Theres tractor whels an some extra tires in there. Its basicly a bunch of stuff piled in a barn.

I have a couple of steel racks in shop and another couple in my junk yard. I found the bit pieces shelves, made that up for small stuff and its super handy, about half the time I can find the just "right" small part. The red lines in second pic is where a mezzanine is going in.

That's a nice rack! I've got one similar in design made by Tennsco.

I also spy a Range Rover/Land Rover wheel! Excellent.

-Mike

Im into Rovers. If you look close you will see alot of Rover parts.

That is what I call a sturdy rack . . . What does that type of rack go for?

I think it was $450 for what I have there. I got it at surpluscity. Each shelf will support 2400lb.

Here's mine. Nothing special; 3/4" ply with large holes cut in it. Some scrap 2*4's and 4*4's.
