at work we have the same clock as this that hangs above the time cards. has been in the shop since 1950's from when the owners father ran the garage. shape is as clean as this one posted. everything works/lights up.

sad thing is, for past ten years i been looking at that clock as i wash my hands and never really read it except for the time. the other day i noticed the 2k mile oil change and was like wtf that is old... thats when i asked the owner and got the history of the clock. he is in his mid 50's and can remember the clock hanging in the shop from when he was 5/6 yrs old.

of course i then did some research and was **** these bring some money. but it is not going anywhere.

That's one beautiful clock! Given the "Kendall The 2000 Mile Oil" w/ the post at the bottom of the round red logo, I'd say this clock is from 1951-1962.
Hang onto that one, it's a gem.

My latest garage sale find, soon to be my garage clock. Works great and the benefit is that I can track my time in the garage!

Here are my three contributions to the thread. First one is my neon clock that for some reason wants to now lose time when hanging on the wall, next is a WallyWorld $3 clock that keeps excellent time and the last one is a quick clock I made. The wife was tossing out an old cheap clock she had in the kitchen, so I pulled the works, drilled a hole in an old hubcap I had and have maybe a total of 10 minutes and $0.00 invested :bounce:

I only have a back side shot of the Bud Clock. It's got the horses and wagon. Right next to the door motor.
It keeps good time also.

Not installed in the shop yet, just won on ebay and I'm pretty jazzed. Holley was one of those iconic brands I loved in my youth. If it turns out to be as described it will be a worthy complement to the cabinet clock.
Its from the late '50's I'm guessing.

With green neon on, picture does not do it justice.

Used to hang in my dad's office for years before he brought it home and gave it to me.

Got the first one as a freebie, because I couldn't see the other one (gift) from anything more than 3 feet away. The garage one plays Vroom-Vroom sounds at the top of every hour.

Not mine, currently on ebay, but this looks like the ultimate vintage shop clock...
Very pricey, but extremely well preserved and 'presented' as they say...

I had an old European train station type clock I bought at a yard sale. It didn’t keep good time and I mounted it in a poor location so I never looked at it. I gave it away when I was cleaning out the garage from the house we just short sold.
Now that I am setting up a new shop, I may put something up but I really don’t give a $h@t what time it is when I am working on a project.
I will keep my eye out for something unique, or I could dig some of my vintage coke stuff out of the attic.

Vintage clocks are a sickness of mine...I grabbed these before the prices went through the roof on this stuff.

One of my favorites is an Old Eagle Stamps clock. When I was 16 we used to go down to my buddy's Uncle's Towing Garage and work on his Hot Rod. In that shop hung this Eagle Stamps clock that his Uncle had from when he used to own a Service Station. I'm 43 now so that was quite a while ago and it was ancient then. A few weeks ago my buddy's Uncle passed away and his daughter stopped over to drop off his old shop clock knowing full well I would want it. I offered to buy it but she refused saying she knew that her dad would like it if I hung it in my garage. So THAT clock carry's a certain amount of honor & good memories for me.

nice aztec...those are hard to find in great shape....

Great looking clocks! That McQUAY-NORRIS is one of my favorites. Here's my newest acquisition. From an old dealership in Independence MO.

This is mine:
Foto-3CQSVIJP.jpg

It is an original dealer part (early 90's) that was given to me by a dealer which gave up (like so many long time Alfa dealerships in Europe did and do).

Not so difficult to guess on which make I get my fingers dirty most of the time.

I just picked this one up. It needs a little bit of work. The picture is a tad misleading in terms of size - it's NOT as big as it looks.

Anyone ever see one of these before? It looks similar to a 1930's Electric Neon Clock Co aka a "Cleveland" Hexagon clock - but it has several different features and of course is only 11" tall versus the "normal" 2 feet or so.

I think this was originally part of something else.

Very neat, based on the font I'd have guessed 1920's it looks like art deco. If it's not a repro I'd guess it's pretty collectible...

The Car clock makes the sound of each car on the hour.

I have a John Deere clock in my bathroom that does the same thing, sounds of different model Deere tractors on each hour. I have JD shower and window curtains, clock, Ertel models on the counter, several JD signs and a serving tray hanging on the wall with a JD tractor/father/son/field scene on it.

My shop clock is a Mustang wheel cover with numbers glued on it and a clock mechanism added to it. Gift from my brother (I have a '70 Mustang)
