made a couple more like it with other pictures I printed on my regular ink jet printer.

5/8ths (my better half), calls me on my cell phone when she thinks it's TIME for me to come in the house. Sometimes it's for something "special" and sometimes it's TIME for me to perform a "honeydo." sometimes my phone is turned off!

After seeing this thread, I stopped by wally world and picked up 3 more clocks. One looks like the old Ford dash clock in the ol 49's and 2 other to do what Jack did, 2 sided clock for in my model railroad room.

I had bought this battery powered, musclecar clock for myself a couple of years ago, but later that year my Mom gave me the same one as a gift. So now I have one in the garage, & one in my basement where I have my wood shop set up. Every hour a different car starts up & you get to hear the motor sound for each one. I also have an old Marlboro cigarette clock in the garage with florescent lights inside, but it's electric & if the power is interrupted it goes out.

Dangnabbit. I don't even like wall clocks, but this thread has got me thinking. (Just like how all of my tools used to fit in one tool box until I started reading GJ regularly. \shakes fist angrily at the lot of you. :))

My kid brother is about to attempt his first brake job, and I think I'll nab his old rotors off of him. A clock made from that might make a nice gift for him. It's also his first car, so hopefully it'll let him hold onto a little bit of it throughout the years.

Also, I bought him some tools for this past Christmas, and it's like he's becoming a gearhead over night. He replaced a leaky faucet already, and he's got plans to fix the toilet. It's all I can do to keep him from stripping and rebuilding his car. Might be one of the better presents I've ever given myself. Funny how that works out.

You have GOT to fix that shelf!!!
It looks like that lens has some barrel distortion too. (Look along the top of the picture.) I suspect it's not that bowed in real life.

5/8ths (my better half)
That's a sweet nickname.

I found this in a closed up dealer shop coated in a good 1/2 inch thick layer of greasy filth. Dirt protected it over the years.

Here's my Co-op clock. It was a gift from a friend who had a clock repair shop. he knew i liked Co-op stuff . The oil sign came out of a dumpster behind the local Co-op. The new manager cleaned house.

Here's mine. It's a brake disk from Stefan Johannsen's '92 Penske PC-20. It's freakin' heavy. On the back are all of the measurements written on it - pretty cool.
I mounted it on one of those table blanks you can buy @ Lowe's & then put a cheap clock mechanism in it from Hobby Lobby. For reference, the wood blank is 18" diameter.

That's awesome. I have some IndyCar stuff in my garage too -- an engine cover from last year's Homestead race (Ana Beatriz in the Dreyer & Reinbold 24 subbing for Conway after his Indy crash) and a rear wing from one of Sarah Fisher's earliest Indy 500s (can't remember if it was 2000 or 2001 off the top of my head) -- that one is autographed by Sarah. Both are off crashed cars, but still pretty solid.

I actually work at IMS, but I've gotten this stuff outside of work.

By the way, nice Milka Duno avatar, haha. I am assuming you race at Dismore's place in New Castle? I've been there a couple of times in rental karts and had a great time racing buddies/co-workers, but I've never been in a real shifter kart or anything...I bet it's a blast! I'd love to get back out there this spring.

Lot of really cool clocks on here, but I do like mine. Technically, this is currently in the kitchen, but may move to the garage soon. I made it from a 911SC clock, 993 engine fan, Porsche vinyl and a voltage converter so I can just plug it in.

Can you give more details on voltage converter? I have the same clock mounted in a cabinet door but running it off a 12 v battery with a battery minder plugged in. Not that elegant a solution...

I have to pull out my clocks from the storage boxes to post since I just moved in to my new house.

I have one of these.

Here' mine. Lit and unlit. Hadn't really realized how badly the NHRA logo has faded. It has a drag strip Christmas tree that lights up (down?) sequentially when it is on.

I don't know how long I'll have this garage so I wanted something cheap I could liquidate fast...

My friend harasses me about it being too low on the wall. It's so low because that way I can see it even from the end of the driveway if the doors are up.

What is the smallest size clock to insert into some item and be really functional? Seeing the one inside of the motorcycle tire got me thinking I could mount a small 6" one inside one of my old kart racing tires.

Here is the Smallest Clock that I have in my Garage...
Its not Round, its a working Original 1957 Clock in a Original 1957 Dash Board mounted on the wall.
It also houses my Garage Stereo, which is a JVC AM/FM CD Player with an MP3 hook-up.
Pretty much serves several purposes!
