What kind of time keeper do you have in the garage or shop?

I've got this one in the garage:

The official Car Talk Time Kill Monitor

Down in the basement workshop I have this one:

I've got the dullest one imaginable.

But it's one of those self-setting 'Atomic' ones, so I never have to mess with setting it or changing it for Daylight Saving Time.

During the week, every day, every thing has a deadline. Hurry, Hurry, Hurry!
Faster Harder, Harder Faster,

On the weekend,

I use the Vegas casino approach.

No clocks. ...That way I can lose track of time.

Those are cool. I saw them in a catalog, but don't remember where. Makes me think of "Hunt for Red October". :headscrat
I had one of those at one time - maybe 15 years ago? They're heavy as hell. I had mine in the bedroom and one night it fell and scared the **** out of me. Pulled the wall anchor right out! But they're very cool.

I want to say that I got mine from Sharper Image.

Have you ever stayed up at 2:30 in the morning to watch that go forward or backwards one hour?

And if you have....you really need to get another hobby :lol_hitti

Im trying to think of something cool to make a wall clock out of, like a steering wheel from a old or rare car or maybe a rim but that would be quite heavy for a wall anchor. really diggin that sub clock. that glow clock is cool as poo also.

I have Weather Channel clock, has date, time, and indoor/outdoor temp. I use the temp to help regulate throwing wood in the stove during the winter.

It replaced a piece of **** atomic clock that was similar. It had a mind of it's own, when the time changed last fall, it would keep adjusting time, even with the DSL turned off. I'm not talking just an hour but it was 4 hours off. I finally ditched it and bought a different one.

No clock, or watches for that matter, don't like 'em. I have a feel for time although I'm usually late or early for everything plus I'm never sure what day it is, works out perfectly for me.

I just bought a $4 Walmart cheapie yesterday for the garage. The red second hand goes nicely with my theme. I didn't want a neon or any other clock that needs to run a cord.

this is my shop clock.
I found it years ago in the trash where I used to have a couple of storage barns.
I hung it up on the wall, then when I got my house in 1997 I put in the garage and put a battery in it and it worked.

Perfect timing for this thread - I just found this 50's Westclox clock stashed away in our house, I was just going to post a thread tonight about restoring it:

Some nice looking clocks!
While I wish I didn't need a clock, but with two teenage kids who aren't driving yet, I'm always picking up or dropping off, so I do have to keep an eye on the time.

Geez these things need cleaning! They didn't photograph well.

This rim clock is my favorite. It was build my a friend of mine, spoke detail done with his cnc machine. I need to come up with a better way to hang it.

Clock in the garage is important so I know when to go get ready for work or when to run to the parts store before it closes.

I love the Large School Clocks, wouldnt mind getting one.
I have some old Snap-On Girlie Clocks that are stored.

Here is mine...My daughter bought it for me.
Its pretty Cool, runs on Batteries, so no cord. Came with a smaller one that sits on my desk.
And it has a Software chip (solar) that when it is dark or Dim...The inside Ring lights up and changes colors...Pretty Neat!

Picture was taken with My Cell Phone...Sorry!
