Four clocks in my garage. All light up. The round blue neon one is Blaupunkt (German radios) but you already know that. Anyway, these are fun to look at and they also show good time, when they are plugged in, except the Blaupunkt which is always plugged in.

Bought this off eBay. I found a guy in TX that was able to restore the orginal movement. It keeps great time. I have the light and the clock wired separately.

I like the old flip style as I can read them without my glasses on.
I bought the larger Copal one first, but it didn't keep time.

I have a couple of the bedside type in the house too.

Here' mine. Lit and unlit. Hadn't really realized how badly the NHRA logo has faded. It has a drag strip Christmas tree that lights up (down?) sequentially when it is on.

Vintage clocks are a sickness of mine...I grabbed these before the prices went through the roof on this stuff.

One of my favorites is an Old Eagle Stamps clock. When I was 16 we used to go down to my buddy's Uncle's Towing Garage and work on his Hot Rod. In that shop hung this Eagle Stamps clock that his Uncle had from when he used to own a Service Station. I'm 43 now so that was quite a while ago and it was ancient then. A few weeks ago my buddy's Uncle passed away and his daughter stopped over to drop off his old shop clock knowing full well I would want it. I offered to buy it but she refused saying she knew that her dad would like it if I hung it in my garage. So THAT clock carry's a certain amount of honor & good memories for me.

The "Christmas Tree" feature is way neat.

Thanks Art, The sequential Christams tree is what made me buy it. My local Pep Boys was closing out their sales on it and had this one display left so I got it for I think about $25 or so.

HemiRambler, I like your clocks and espcially the Squirt soda clock. I LOVED Squirt as a kid. I've got to go looking through eBay for one; I'd never thought of it until I saw yours.

Now Jack has inspired me to make a JEEP themed clock.
I got an atomic clock, a JEEP decal and a plastic plant bottom. I'll post a pick when it's done.

Dan, The Squirt Clock is one of my favorites. I had a dog named Squirt - she was one of my favorites too! I'm not sure that clock will be easy to find - I've not seen another since I got it 10 or so years ago. I do see the slightly newer Squirt Clocks on Ebay - haven't followed them pricewise - last I saw there were getting silly money for them...

Here's one of my "Kool" clock.....It's one of the motion clocks with what appears to be running water.

The Car clock makes the sound of each car on the hour.

Here's a couple more. The DanDee came off a grocery store and it's about 4ft tall!

The Hex Clock is one I made inspired by the old Hexagon Electric Neon Clock Co of Cleveland, Ohio aka "Cleveland". I drew out the letters on the computer, took them to a sign guy who cut them out on his plotter to make me a sticker - I used the reverese of the sticker as a template and painted the white numbers on. Sort of a poor man's silk screen.

OK, this thread inspired me to make a new Jeep clock. It's an "atomic" clock. So I added a nuclear trifoil symbol.

I'm actually surprised to see that not many motorcycle guys have done this...

but a few years back I somehow managed to burn the sides off my rear ZX-12R rear tire before I totally burned off the center, causing it to not pass inspection. I did so riding on the street and not the track, so I thought it was a good trophy to keep, but there was no way to use it for anything.... sooooooo:

An old GE 12/24 clock I bought at a swap meet. The second hand sweeps instead of ticks, it keeps very accurate time.

Boyd,

Just curious why your garage door has double roller mounting plates or whatever you call those?

Sweet clock too, BTW.

The doors are heavy. Full 3/4" cedar with an inch and a half of insulation. It's just a precaution the garage door company likes to take. I'll snap a pic tomorrow during the day and post it up.
