So my dad wants a clock for his workshop for Christmas. I want to build one rather than buy the saw blade clock on you see everywhere for sale. I'm looking for ideas. I have a decent metalworking and woodworking shop as well as a cnc router. I **** at design and artsy stuff though. Let's see what you have done. I need some ideas to get started

If you really want to get him a great clock- get him a cuckoo clock. A really nice one sells for around $2-300.00 that will last the rest of his and your life. You can get them cheaper, but the really nice ones are a little more.
