This is my everday roll-around filled with what I use day-to day. My larger box houses the tools that I find myself only grabbing every once in a great while. That way I can roll my box to the job and have what I need and it improves productivity.

I have heard someone say they didn't like the 4 wheel casters.. Are you crazy? Its the best thing ever.. along with the split top that allows you to use it as a work surface or storage for parts you have taken off. A flip top makes it impossible to access your tools. All 3 techs at my shop use this roll around after having used multiple others. Anyways here is how she looked a week ago.

No, I'm not crazy. 4 casters **** in a diesel shop. I also dont like the 3 drawer add on and would rather have the open bottom like you have

I bought a HF cart for work. I have a desk job, but I have been doing a lot more prototype assembly lately and have outgrown my small hand box. Plus it's a little more secure, even a locked hand box can just be carried away.

It's a mix of HF, Wera, Craftsman, Snapon, and Stanley.

Finally picked up a HF 5 draw. I cant believe how much room it freed up in my box. I must say I am a little disappointed in the fact my prybars are to tall to fit inside and close the lid but its not the end of the world...

not sure of the number, but like yours with the sliding SS top instead of flip lid. i like to dump out the hardware cups and sort them on a clean surface during reassembly.

I added some things i though i needed to protect the box and side cab:
Clear drawer guards:

Edge guards for the side cab:
87501aaafa2d2b1.jpg

Bought the optional power strip and cord wind:

87501aaafb483e1.jpg

I have a couple of more accessories to add that will increase my storage capacity and more protection for the box.
At the moment i have more box than tools, so no drawer pics. I plan on remedying that soon. :)

Would you have more pics of your drawer setup? I'm stuck between a krsc46 and a kra4107

I might need to get a bigger cart or another cart like the HF 5-drawer?

The KRSC46 and the KRA4107 are the same box . Only difference is the 46 has more storage with the lid and the prybar passthroughs inside the lid. The 4107 has 7 drawers with the upper two being 1 inch drawers. The lower 5 are the exact same drawers. What is strange is that even though the 46 is a 4107 with a lid , it is only 1590.00 and the 4107 is 1995.00. More storage, less cash. SOLD !
Heres a link to my thread. The second page has drawer pics.

I was looking to do a similar set up as you and be around $3k ( but in red with carbon fiber drawer gaurds ) or $4k with a 4107 and top box.

Yes, took about 5 minutes and not only didn't it cost was a cheap way to get rid of it. I have a few other carts benches floating around that were free type deals. I have a couple roll of boxes, one I pay 75 for and one I did buy new back in the day when I bought new tool set and just had to have something at the time. One of these days I might get another one but they wouldn't make me any more money.

The tall one I took wheels off, it was so heavy and if I need to move it can use a pallet jack. It keeps some specialty stuff and keeps things out of the way, don't mind walking to it on occasion for something but the hi use stuff is as handy as I can make it. I finally had to go thru the bottom box on wheels and strip stuff I really didn't use a lot, was so heavy was ruining the drawers and just didn't need it anyway.

We set tools and project parts on a couple of these table carts given to me. A lot of the common tools really do't have a "home" There are multiples/duplicates and when a rack is bare or full means there are extras or short, when we pick up we restore whats missing.

Some shelves hold cased tool sets,a couple dedicated to pullers etc. One from a steel case desk. These are some, the cost would have been extravagant to put it all in new truck tool boxes.
