Like the color of that one!

Thanks. It's a nice color. It isn't as shiny as I thought it was going to be, but it has a ton of metal flake in it, and really pops when the sun comes into my bay. I got the cart in that color as a test, next year I'm probably going to pick up a 6331rx in the same scheme.

It's still my same cart, snappy krsc33.when I ordered it I told him not to put the snap on sticker on the lid like they all do.instead I told him get me a big silver Snap on S. We finally got around to putting it on today.we were kind of in a rush so we didn't use the right method so there's nibbles here and there I can't get out but oh well it's finally on.he told me it was going to be a shiny silver almost chrome so I was worried, but it's not its a nice reflective silver its cool.I like it and its big, it gives it a whole news look.next up I want to swap the snappy logo for the new epiq style emblem and maybe see if we can work a way to use a tool box handle.

I have had this KRSC326 cart for about a month. I got a new job where you necessarily don't work in your bay but where ever so my 2 shelf cart wasn't cutting it no more. I am adding more in from my main box as needed. One thing is I don't like having 4 swivel casters.

I started using this setup this summer. I originally set the chest on a rolling rack to get it off the truck and left it there for cleaning. Gradually it started to fill up with tools and I found wheeling it around to jobs worked really well. I am considering some 10" pneumatic swivel casters so it will do better in the yard. The box is still not full but has proven very useful. I think this will be where the chest lives when it's not on my truck.

I'm glad to stumble on this thread. My tool cart is a stainless steel food service cart, pictured below. Normally I use it to carry tools and parts out to my driveway for car repairs. I also like because it's a bit smaller than most standard carts. Currently, I'm using it to keep several vises organized for restorations. The scale on the top shelf is used to weigh the vises.

The kobalt cart that can. I don't hammer to much on the vice but it holds work really well and is solid enough. 150 dollars well spent. Is a tough little cart that only needs new casters to be a great little cart. The slides have very little play and are smooth even when loaded down with my air tools. When I get my new krl I'll move the vice to have a sturdier surface. This is a screaming deal tho if your looking for a nice little cart

I thought so too I have not decided if I wanted to buy one or not yet but in the store it seems very good for the money

I've had this little Sunex cart for a few months. Really like it so far. I had a Blue Point cart similar to the HF 5 drawer, but my shop is a little tight to be pushing it around and I didn't have much use for the drawers so I sold it. Got it for dirt cheap so I have no problem modding it and making it strictly utilitarian.

Started off innocently enough...

Then I welded on exhaust hangers for impact holders, magnet strip on the back, and a can holder on the front. It had just a few small holes for screwdrivers to hang, but not big enough to fit a pry bar in. I doubled the amount of holes on the rail and made them all big enough for a prybar. End of day a few days ago.

My next mods will be fabbing up a mount for a funnel buddy and putting a platform at the bottom to hold clean rags.

Since these are not locked inside, don't these walk away when you go home for the night?

At the shop I work at right now everybody is scared to even go near my box but in 2 weeks I change jobs and go back to my old job with only 4 guys in the shop who I trust.

I just added a international small side locker today.
Haven't put the finishing touches on it yet.

This is my newest KRSC46 I picked up from a pawn shop about 30 miles south of me. Was advertised on Craigslist at $1,000, I offered $850 and we settled on $875....but I forgot about MI sales tax. I ended up paying $927.50 total, which is more than I wanted to pay, however it is like new and is the newest model KRSC46GPBO with the improved lid.

With the exception of diagnostic equipment and alignment tools, I can work out of this cart probably 99% of the time without having to reach into my full size box. Carts are the way to go!

How did you get it Home ?
Car or truck ?

I have moved them in my 2001 Dodge Ram, my 1990 Dodge Dakota, and our 1999 Pontiac Montana minivan (with the rear seats removed).
I simply lay them on their back to transport...without the tools inside them, of course.
I have an older version with the plastic corner gaurds....slides much nicer, but the newer rubber ones look/feel of more quality...bu t man do they grip!
The corner bumper gaurds are enough to keep the back (or a side) from touching/ getting marked up.

Every time I go into cleanup mode and I need to dampen a rag with some kind of solvent, I pull out the gallon can and splash way more solvent than I need on the rag. I found these squirt bottles at US Plastics that are unaffected by most solvents. I filled and labeled six bottles with...

  • Acetone
  • Denatured Alcohol
  • Lacquer Thinner
  • Paint Thinner
  • Urethane Reducer
  • Waterborne Wax & Grease Remover

    ...and ordered:
  • Solvent Based Wax & Grease Remover

I kept them handy on the workbench but after knocking them over a few times, I made a holder to mount on the $49 HF 1-drawer cart I use to store the majority of my paint & bodywork tools and supplies. It was really just an excuse to practice TIG welding (no filler rods, just fusion).

With two pieces of 2.25" exhaust tubing from my local auto supply store and two pieces of bar stock from Home Depot, I made a 7-bottle holder to bolt to the cart. A can of bright red Krylon Dual (primer/finish) got it close to the cart color.
