@ LordDiesel: I did add them. What I did was buy the cart, then bought 1 drawer. Discovered that I liked using the cart so much but hated having to move stuff back to my big box at the end of the day. So I added another drawer.

I do need to get them keyed alike though.

I also mounted some magnetic rails in the top area and drilled a couple holes in the top area just behind the drawers so i could just drop my 36" extensions down in the hole, and when I lock the top of the cart, everything including the extension is safe. Did the same for my 36" prybar.

My service cart started with just the bare cart, then added the vintage Par-X top chest, then later added the Craftsman intermediate.

I just could not resist this Lista cabinet I got out of our Junkyard Specials. It reminds me of the Flying Nun TV show. It's a Lista NW750 8-Drawer Mobile Cabinet with two 50 lb. capacity folding shelves. I think it will really work out great for me as I continue my long journey of getting my GTO back together.

The Flying Nun will be my new shop cart seeing how my original cart is now serving as an engine stand for the GTO's engine.

I'll post more pick once I load it up and put it into use.

Here is mine. I picked up this Mac cart about 2 years ago off craigslist for $200. Not a bad deal considering I was going to get one off the truck for $800. I have never used a tool cart before purchasing this one, I always just worked right out of my toolbox but I have to say, this thing has been great for productivity. It took me a few weeks to figure out which tools I should keep in it but I'm pretty happy with the setup I have here. This thing has pretty much put my full box out of business...
I'm currently a body tech and do a lot of the suspension work for our shop.


This was a picture I took when I first started using this cart at the shop. My snap-on box is in the back.

This is the top sliding compartment. I keep my 1/2 and 3/8 sockets as well as my impacts up here. The right side keeps my pry bars and the left side keeps my 1/2 and 3/8 extensions.

1st drawer has the 1/4 socket set, torx, inverted torx and the red case is the triple square sockets for VW's and BMW's. Punches and chisels in top right, all my usual pliers and snips and my Dewalt screwdriver and flashlight.

2nd drawer has a full set of ratcheting wrenches, screwdrivers, torx drivers, picks and some door and clip removal tools.

3rd drawer has my most used air tools, drill bits a few hammers and a Dewalt drill and 3/8 impact. I also keep plastic bags for bolt and screw storage while taking apart vehicles.

The bottom keeps my most used sanders and grinders as well as most of the paper I use often.

Here is my new Snap-on KRSC326 cart. It's a KRSC326FPU to be more specific, and I finally got it organized enough to post some pics. I'm an industrial assembly supervisor, so I occasionally get the call to build products or repair equipment.

I upgraded from my old Harbor Freight 4-drawer.

We use a lot of socket head cap screws on our products, so hex keys and t-handles are in the top drawer.

Snap-on screwdrivers, Wera miniatures, and a random sampling of Craftsman and some other brands.

We don't use sockets on our products, but they come in handy when I need to assemble a workbench or rebuild some old equipment.

SK fractional wrenches, Craftsman Pro metric wrenches in a Snap-on tray, Fluke, and a few Crescent USA adjustables.

The bottom drawer is unorganized. It's a combination of junk, unorganized random tools, and a few fixtures that I probably shouldn't post on the internet.

One thing I wasn't happy with is the length of the Lock'n'Roll tabs in the drawers. They were 7" short of the drawers, so you have to grab from the center or toward the right side.

I ordered longer 30" tabs, Snap-on #10-285B, for $3.70 each. I cut them down so they fit right to the end of the drawer.

Not sure this totally counts but I welded up two of these earlier in the year for a client in Albuquerque NM.

2" x 18 guage steel tube, Colson Industrial full locking casters, 1.5" Rock Maple butcher block top. 100% USA made. (still needs the bottom shelf 3/4" sheet installed)

Also did 18 shop tables in a similar style.

Here's my cart. I'm an auto body tech and I use this mainly to tear down the cars I have a couple of body tools like my sanders and grinder and couple of sanding blocks.

I get so much **** for having them in a diesel shop. They are nick named little and big jewelry boxes. They get a quick wax every couple weeks and blown off and wiped down weekly. More often if they get really dirty.

It is now the ultimate 9 drawer Snap-on KRSC46GPJJ cart.

I will get two more black drawer guards for the bottom 2 drawers someday soon enough.

Well thanks to this thread I am now in the market for a KRSC326 or KRSC46. Got the snap-on guy stopping by to wheel and deal. Also found a used one with minor damage for sale which will be my backup option.

I sold that cart in the 1990s as a MSC4. There was originally a rubber trim piece along the front of the lid to protect the drawer fronts. I have slept since then and can't recall what they sold for.

I use the cart to transfer whats needed for the particular job,tools,parts, etc.

It's storage for some small boxes of misc items; bolts,body clips,small hardware,my fender mats,funnel,magnetic tray,various chemicals & kneeling pad
