dat EVO.
Thanks...
awesome toys and collection.
Thank you so much. I enjoy them...

You tow that trailer with the benzo? That looks too heavy for the benzo. I hope you don't go far with it.
Not too heavy at all. I Do Not Need A Huge Ford or Chevy to pull this trailer. It's a 7×16' the ML pulls it just fine no problem. I set it up with et rack on the walls and D rings on the floor.. I love the trailer. I bought it new and recommend anyone who can to buy one if you have the space and your HOA won't bother you.

Yes go with a 1033 box like you want
Yes. Thank you. I love the two long drawers and have never seen another box with the same to box length drawers. If the made one at strictly I would buy it but none of the 72"ers have those box length drawers. It's amazing to me.
mercedes that size are rated to tow about 4-5k,

I think that a ML350 if so its rated for 7k

Thanks
I am buying a GM Sierra Denali , not that the ML can't pull it because it does with no problems, I just need something I can throw stuff in without going to get the trailer.
When I tow with the ML it pulls fine. I take my time and I'm in no hurry when I pull any trailer. Safety first in my book. Even if I had a F 350 turbo D, I still would pull it the same as I do with the ML nice and slow...

Thanks all

Nice little plano hand box, nice choice on brand! I have Made In USA Stanley 26" hand box I keep in my truck, need to get some pics of that. If I could only keep one set of tools, it would be that little box full!

Thanks for the complements, it's a Plano 781, that little box is definitely a bargain and I highly recommend it. I've got flex sockets and safety wire pliers on the way this week and will post plenty of pics when they come in.

Mike, You have a very nice setup with some VERY nice tools. Just WTF happened to the top compartment? All the drawers are so perfectly organized and neat. Then bam, there is the top compartment. The screwdriver drawer red, black and white, black is trippy.

The hook/picks and prybars look different than anything I've seen in US Sears stores.

:+1: I was wondering that too. Pliers as well?

Can we see a shot of the box. You look to have a Canadian only craftsman box and I'm curious to see it.

I can tell you the top box is Beach made, in the plant in Smith Falls, Ont. I got this box back in the early '90s. The half size drawers in the middle of the second and third rows replace a deep drawer that occupied that space. I've seen that configuration in Beach branded boxes as well as Mastercraft (Canadian Tire), but not in the Craftsman red with black drawers colour.

Is this what you're after?

I have horizontal surface disease. Any horizontal surface becomes a collection point for stuff. My workbenches, desks, tables, whatever always get cluttered. Fortunately the toolbox drawers are too thin for this to happen.

As for the tools, generally I do a job and everything get tossed onto the bench in a heap when the job is done. Then, usually the next day, I wipe down the tools and put them away, so I can find them the next time. That's why the drawers are generally pretty neat. That, and the fact that I hate not being able to find a tool.

When Sears Canada uncoupled itself from Sears USA, they did a lot of their own sourcing, (not just tools, everything) that's probably why you guys don't recognize the picks and pry bars.

I'm not sure what you're wondering about the pliers? I know I have a pretty eclectic mix.

Twofifty, thats a sharp box you have there!

Thank you :)

how deep is that evercraft and when did you purchase it ? thanks for your time...

It's 24" deep box, one of the guys I work with has a 56" snap on box and it' actually identical in size, length and depth wise, it's just a little shorter then his box, height wise. I'm actually very impressed with the depth of the box for the money. It was purchased from Napa Auto Parts.

Nice setup/upgrade. Is that a Mini on the lift? What is it in for out of curiosity? I went to school with a guy that had one, man was that a B to work on.

Actually it's a Buick Enclave that had a timing chains done on it. They have a 3.6 in them. However one of my neighbors has a mini and I took a peak under the hood one day and they look like an absolute pain to work on!

Looks like somebody is putting timing chains on a Buick Enclave

Nailed it! :D

Sorry to see that car in the pic. I can't count how many of them thing I did and it seamed every time I would find a short cut and start making money on them, GM would go cut the time again:mad:.

Yeah that sounds about right, seems that way with a lot of places. I was a Chrysler guy for 5 1/2 years and I just started at GM, those were the first things I was warned about. The one in the picture was the guy next to me's job but I've seen another 2 in the past week just in getting the reseal done.

Oops,. For some reason it looked like a mini to me. Not sure what I was thinking. :headscrat Yea I saved him a bunch of money instead of going to the dealer, but man there were alot of 4 letter words used that day(s).

I don't know if anyone told you yet but when you do find short cuts do not post them on the GM forums. The folks at GM monitor them things all the time looking to save money. If you have not opened an account for the forums yet, do so but just don't post short cuts you find. After a while try to get invited to the Blue Gorilla forum, it is by invite only and started by a GM tech that was kicked out of the other forum, this is where all the good stuff is located now.

I love that style of drawer fronts and how they tuck back into the box nicely.
