So I finally got my new toolbox that I got back in November setup and labeled (my wife helps me a lot and labeling helps her) and my old box holds lesser used stuff.

This is absolutely going to change over the next few months, but I got most of my tools moved over into the new box at the new house. It's organized to the point I'm content with it.

It's not full but I've got more tools to move into the box, and more changes to make in terms of organization.

I like those labels. Where did you get them from?
Believe it or not, TEMU. They were super cheap, the only thing is there is no 3/8 drive option only a 3/4, so 3/4 with a 3/8 Tekton socket label over it, they come in different colors but black looks good on the gray and the older black box.

Thinking about picking up one of the US General side lockers soon. I've got things off to the side I'd really like to contain and better organize.

If anyone else has a locker, share a picture of the inside and show me how you have it organized.

nice set. those ratcheting wrenches are a game changer. It's all I use now for wrench purposes.

I'm not crazy about them. I've honestly never been a fan of ratcheting wrenches in general and never seem to keep them around. That includes Snap On, which I've also owned in the past.

Interesting ! I guess its the tight spaces I'm usually working in that has me loving the ratcheting ones. Not enough to room to turn regular wrench 360 so have to keep taking it on and off.

Been doing more work on the box. New stuff and still tweaking the organization.

Need to buy different organizers.
Where did you get the tray that’s holding your wobble extension in pic #3?

The Dollar Tree store. I have 3 different sizes. The bigger size you'll see in other drawers (punches/chisels for example). Don't think I'm using any of the smaller size currently.

No idea if they still have them. Their inventory seems to change frequently. It's meant for the kitchen drawers, but work great as toolbox organizers.

Slowly but surely filling my USA only craftsman mini tool box. Only 100% USA craftsman tools will be in here. IMG_8316.jpegIMG_8317.jpeg
I always kind of liked those Craftsman Quick wrenches, they were the longest wrenches i had for a while and would use almost the box end exclusively. There is one job i recall that the open end actually ended up being the most efficient way to do the job.

They take a bit of getting used to for the motion, but I agree useful at times. I just added a 10mm for/to my T-van road bot last sat.

I have had those (a mix of different brands) for decades. I had them for years before I ever touched them. Then I had to do a specific job where I could only swing a wrench a few degrees… that was when it finally clicked. They saved me from having to pull a bunch of things apart for access. I go years without using them, though.

I find the Snap-on SAE ones, occasionally, at estate sales… but never metric ones.

Dad gave all of us guys a set in SAE one year for Xmas. Mine get used occasionally when nothing else really fits.

A repurposed microfiche cabinet. For those that like deep cabinet, it’s 28.5 inches deep, but only 25 inches wide

I found it at work. They were throwing it out so I got it for free

With full extension like that n microfiche being heavy in volume, I'm guessing really good roller slides?

I have 3 card files in use and love the slides.

The roller slides are really good. I don't know what weight they're rated for, but a full drawer of microfiche is a lot more weight than I'll ever have in it. The cabinet itself is heavy enough that it took three of us to tip it over to get it in the van.

Rearranged a few drawers. It's never "finished" but still more work needs to be done either way.

All of my electronics/electrical tools are in the bottom drawer, but think I'm going to move them elsewhere out of the box.
