The latest setup after upgrading to a bigger top box. I think I still need a locker for all of the test equipment and misc. plastic boxes, even with two carts and the top chest. Sometimes it never seems to end...

nice set up!

Nice box man. I probably won't have that many tools for a while. Probably going to pick up a metric and standard wrench set from princess auto to try them out. Moneys hard to come by right now until I find a job or get into RAP. Though I've been taught to buy and have what I need. So I'll probably stick with a hand box for a while. Maybe just pick up a 28" or 32" wide handbox.

What do you get for X-mas presents? I got some tools for this past xmas, got the box in feb. for my bday, then get some kind of tool once a week since. i have to pay for half of any tool i get. The only reason i don't have to pay for all is because i use the tools to fix all of my families and my own stuff. My dad doesn't have anymore tools than me (except for power tools)

i love it, lets see whats inside that thing!!

I've shown the bottom box before. The top box is on it's way to being full of welding, machining, diagnostic, and specialty tools for diesel and heavy equipment.

One matco cart is set up for diagnostics (Cat ET, International, and Ford IDS) it's really not that interesting unless you like looking at cables. The other cart is the one I work out of every day with wrenches, sockets, impacts, and the lab scope. A third cart not pictured is a basic cart for laying out parts during jobs.

We work on stuff like that, along with police cars and other city vehicles, and assorted heavy equipment like loaders, road graders, pavers, etc.

Although it doesn’t compare with many of yours I thought I’d post pics of my box. I’ve been a hobbiest wrencher since the early 60’s and just got the new Kobalt stainless box and it isn’t as roomy as I thought.

Dude that lift is badass!! I would love to have some of those at work, or even a pit would help.

Whats the story on those girlie wrenches?
I read that and thought, dang, man - that's kinda harsh, what are you making fun of his Craftsman? Gearwrench? Harbor Freight? Then I looked at the picture a little closer and yes - they really ARE girlie wrenches! LOL!

It looks like a MaxJax on some serious roids.

I have been cleaning my box some to make room for the new stuff and old stuff I don't use goes into a box until I get a new tool box/house to put them in... So while I was drinking a couple of beers after doing a power red donation of blood this afternoon I thought I would take a few pictures.... They really like my O negative blood, I think the vampires must really be thursty or something .... Also the last set was a general set I put together to have 90% of the sockets I need and stuff... It has torx, metric/sae hex, screw driver bit sockets and sae/metric sockets and an fx80, a few extensions/u joint and a snappy speeder handle as well.

I recently got alot of new tools so I figured I would update my toolbox pictures. I took pictures of most of the drawers. The small craftsman box now has a Craftsman tool set in it. Also I won $400 of Ridgid tools which I should be getting shortly. I got the tools for having the highest gpa (4.0) in my college plumbing program. Meanwhile here are the pics...

Thanks! At first I thought the Wera screwdrivers were kind of odd, but now that I have used them alot, I really like them.

Sterff, Great looking set of tools. What's with the duck-taped hammer? It sure is ugly. I'd either hide it in the car trunk or toss it as far as you could throw it and pick it up and give it another throw just for good luck. You then could just rewrap it in alum. foil and then it would at least be shiney in the drawer. One way or the other, I bet it could sure mash a finger.
