Yeah its a modded drain rack it was $3 at wal mart and I just cut the legs off and cut it to length

Ive gone through practically this whole thread and I'd have to say that my collection of tools would rank among the "Top 10 tool whores on GJ." (Not bragging... just my personal opinion). That being said EVEN I don't have that many ratchets...

There's no rhyme or reason I suppose. I think Dynodale has way more ratchets than I do. Some people collect stamps, basesball cards, etc. I collect tools (use them too), but more specifically, I focus on ratchets. On that note, I added two more to my collection this week.

Taps/dies, parallels, 1-2-3 blocks, step drills

4-jaw chuck, centers, change gears, swivel base

Various power tools, etc.

WOW...there are some really nice sets on here! heres my box and tools. I have slowly went from craftsman to snap-on .I started buying when I was 18 and am now 27. I have a nice set of air tools but dont have a nice compressor YET so most have never been used! heres some pics:

Here is my setup, Top is a free Napa tool box a freind gave me, middle is a box I scored for 50 $ and the bottom is a Cman. It all works for me right now. I will get my tools first and save for a new box later.

Uhmmm about 20 pages back? The guy made them, welded upright separators to flat stock.

I'm gonna make me some but thought at first they were just a bunch of those letter organizers, look really similar.

That was me with the home made metal plier racks. PM me if you want some dimensions or anything. I just made them to fit my widest handled pliers I had. So far everything stays in place and is so much better than them all piled in a drawer.

First post here. First off, some of these setups and tool collections are amazing. Figure Id post up my new box. Its a KRL1022. Ill get some drawer pics when I go in on monday. Planning on either just a hood and locker, or maybe adding a side cab then hood and locker.

It is not much but it holds the tools I need to work on the bikes.

The right side holds the tools the left side holds the wobbly-pop

I also have a HF service cart that makes life so nice.

I had purchased my BP box a few months back, and have gotten to use/organize it so here's my "old school" mechanics collection. Lotsa hand-me downs & great purchases from members. Got as much newer snappy as I could, but there were some great buys on other stuff too. Organizers, racks, & little 3/8s box make a stack box hold a lot of tools.

You can move those writing trays to whichever drawer you like, or you can remove them all together. I have an advantage with my older box.......I've got more small drawers, and higher too...that's one disadvantage to the newer boxes with the two extra wide drawers.

I've also taped commonly used information to the writing tray for quick access like a decimal chart, ect...

This my working box.
I drive a service vehicle with a giant compressor, generator and oxy set on the tray. I do all manner of emergency and break down repairs on the companies fleet of Kenworth and Volvo’s.
Im never in the shop always on the road so those big beautiful boxes would be destroyed in a week. This box cost me $35.00.
Its only 450mm long and with all my tools in it, its too heavy for its self. So I knocked up a frame out of flat bar and turned my breaker and cheater bars into a handle.
I have my air ratchet and die grinder on the frame as well.
Tidy and small. Fits into my Ford hatch back to take home for my small business.
Enjoy.

And after a 12 hour, double truck trailer suspension and running gear rebuild.

This box has paid the bills for the last 7 years and I even take it as extra baggage when I fly over seas.

I'm guessing he's from Australia/New Zealand as those ratchets are from Sidchrome. Interestingly, the shape of the handle resembles the older Stahlwille hard handles.

I noticed them right away. My BIL is Aussie and he has a nice Sidchrome & Festool fetish...

To me, the Sidchrome heads look like Sturdevant-Richmont torque wrench heads....

I love the box, just might trade it in later or add on the side lockers for more space. I only have 1 empty drawer in it after swapping everything over.

Yea, worked at a Bobcat/Hyster dealership for 5 years and now work at a hydraulic shop that specializes in commercial fishing boat equipment and yacht davits.

You got beef with my foliage???? It was just there when I started, might decorate it come x-mas time, lol.

Snap On KRA 2411, bought it 3 years ago with the Realtree camo wrap but thinking about removing most of it to expose the black. Sorry, only one drawer photo, I'm STILL working on filling it and arranging it, got it when I was in tech school for automotive technology and most of the work I do is mobile service and repair.
