This is my home box, used to maintain and restore my own and my friends collections of classic Minis. As such, I dont need a large range of tools, typically the same stuff gets used over and over, so the less used stuff is generally Eastern made, a fair few Halfords Pro pieces. Anyway, pics:

SO rollcab:

NWS and channellock, and a couple of random ones:

Mainly Wera:

Stahlwille AF set gets pride of place as the most used. Snap-on, Elora, (old) Britool in there too:

Stahlwille AF longs, Halfords Metric and AF sets. Offsets are marked Made in Germany but no name:

The hammers, a couple missing hence gaps:

Random stuff, Elora and Record bits and pieces. The small Stillsons are marked USA and nothing else:

Stuff I don't use often in the bottom drawer:

That’s correct SUPERAUTOBACS they are Sidchrome.
And I live in Australia.
Had the ratchets just over 7 years and have thrown everything at them.
I've had 2 1/2" sockets on the little 1/2" drives and I have NEVER busted one.
Good enough for the bush.
I have a mixture of Snap On, Bluepoint, Sidchrome, Kinchrome, Stanley, Bahco and ABW.
Im not a brand snob but I have built my professional reputation with quality tools and experience has taught me when you demand the highest performance from your tools is when the quality proves itself

I do a lot of wiring so I have to have some electrical testing stuff which takes up room.
Its a constant on going work.
Since these pictures the little 8” stilson has gone and a 18” KC tools one has gone in. As well as the engineers hammer has been ditched as I have a larger Mallet that will do.
The new room will make place for a small torque wrench for valve bolt torques and a better multimeter.

When I was beginning my apprenticeship a highly regarded tradesman said to me.
“Who‘s more skilled, the man who has ever tool for the job or the man who does every job with the tools he has?”
Its taught me to find tools that I can double up the uses on.
One day soon hopefully soon I will get a picture breakdown of each draw.
It never ceases to amaze even the old timers the amount of tools in the tiny box.

Hi

This is almost exactly the same two boxes I have at my house. (my bottom box drawer is split in two you have one piece drawer up top) I bought them both for one grand about six years on the jobsite. I think one of the best investiments I had ever made. Mine lil beat up but not too bad..Both boxes made in Canada..I bought a cover for it also..

Couple of boxes I moved into the garage I'm re-doing right now, pardon the mess. Typical drawer shot, there's a real mix top to bottom but it's mostly American. Course the KD Allen isn't, but I happen to like them quite a bit and it's nice to get that range of sizes for $38.

Here is my work box. Husky top, roller, and side cab. International locker. The service cart is a Mac with a Beach 2 drawer step up bolted underneath. Sorry about the pic quality as it was taken with a cell phone camera...

Here's my box, sorry for the poor picture, space in the tool room is tight!

Main box is a Snap-On KR-555D, side cabinets are cheaper Mac cabinets, on top is a Mac top box, Kennedy chest and a Matco side cabinet with two top drawers and books in the bottom.

Anyone know where I can buy the correct Snap-On and Mac "nameplates" for the KR-555D and the side cabinets?

Erik

I got around to painting my red side box cranberry to match the rest of my box. I got 2 12oz cans of paint from snap on, for $25 a can!!!!! I found some cranberry rustoleum for the inside. Turned out nice. The back, and the side up against the box could use another coat, but I ran out of paint.
