Thanks, back2class. It gets the job done without breaking the bank, so I couldn't ask for much more.

loniousmonk, thank you. They are great wrenches. I will put them up against any truck brand any day.

For sure... and cherish them since the species is all but extinct now.

What brand are those 1/2" breakers? I can't read the handle well.

Just picked this up yesterday.
With all the trade in incentives and rebates it only came out to $6k.

That's the 84" right? That's the same box I'm after, I was at $4975 after tax, trade and rebates, back in July, but held off.

What was your trade in?

they do the job, actually got those for free, package was open and the matco guy was looking for something else and they fell all over the floor on his truck, i said "ill get those out of your way if you want" and he responded with "take them or im going to throw them away"

Where did you get the wrench organizer rails? I like the looks of those better than the crappy plastic ones I have now.

Im wondering the same thing

I third the question.

Those are Ernst rails. After trying a bunch of different setups, I ended up with the same ones. Straight ones are available, as are red ones, but that is the 40 wrench set I think. One is reversed so two can fit together in a drawer.

i dont know if i would spend $70 on them. i suppose if you really want t-handles they might be worth it.

Ive got both hex sets in SAE and Metric as well as the torx set. I think they're great but they do run around $60 I think and they are made in Taiwan if thats an issue for you. I think Cornwell sells the exact same ones but in blue.

Ernst stuff is the ****. I ordered mine direct from them and they are really cool. I wanted rails in two different colors to separate SAE and metric, but they only came in four packs in red. The guy there put together a blue set for me and charged me for two sets to save me some cash. The sockets sometimes stick, but I think they made a design change to eliminate that problem.

The wrench racks are nice too. They are a little big for the typical 26" Craftsman box, but I just cut them down with a box cutter.

Heres mine....Nowhere near as cool as some i have seen on here, but it does what i need it to. Always adding bits here and there..Some Channellock pliers and grips on the way, along with a few snap on pry bars and drivers....

Here is my new purchase freshly unpacked. Now to decide just what to put in each drawer. I know it doesn't hold a candle to most of these post, but it was the best deal I could find.

I have a masterforce as well. I am very happy with it. I am planning on picking up one of the 26" bottoms soon.

I really wish it came in a different color tho...but it is a really nice box. I am going to chance mine all around soon...once I get the 26".

The Masterforce tool box, is it made in USA?
From what I have researched, it is a mix of US, Mexico, and China. Menards imports the box from China and badges it under their house brand. It is definitely not related to the Masterhand brand that TSC carries, despite what some people have posted. I came so close to buying the US General boxes that everyone raves about, until I looked at these. I think it was worth the price difference.

This came from very humble raw materials and a month of weekend carpentry. It is 28" tall with a 18" X 16" footprint. The flash from the camera gives a false color, it is deep fire engine red.
A few minor improvements are ahead, drawer liners and very possibly some chrome car emblems tastefully placed.

Four drawers and a deep top space, even a hidden "secret" space for a few papers that may need to be kept safely.
I have 11 dollars in it, I am very pleased with the result.

Thats a lot of box for 11 dollars, casters???
