Alrighty. This is my first tool box (Ever!) so go easy on me. I could probably fit all my tools into the bottom drawer.. definitely need to pick more up. I could probably buy 2 Snap-On deadblow hammers if I sold everything -.-
Forgive me, i have the hands of a 10 year old.
i, for one, started out with a lot less......

Here is mine from the outside. I don't feel good about posting pictures of the wreck on the inside. Haha. Snap-on bottom, and a Dayton top. The bottom was my Grand Father's on my Mom's side. He gave it to my Dad along with the matching Snap-on top. My Dad switched it for a Dayton because it had more room. I still have the original top, and another bottom that was given to me after my Grand Father passed. The setup pictured was my Dad's for a bunch of years. He had gotten a Master Series to replace it. For a bunch of years I've worked out of my Dad's box, and this one has been used for nothing but storage. I want to change that.
Considering breaking out the paint gun to give it a fresh color. The original paint has seen better days.

Before you break out the paint gun you might try some old fashioned car wax (paste). You'd be surprised what will buff out...

So, I have to admit - I am quite impressed with the HF 5 drawer tool cart. The best part was, I have had the 255 piece Craftsman Tool Set that came in the plastic storage chest for years. So I thought I would take the tools out and put them in the cart. The best part is the trays fit PERFECT in the drawers!!!

Here is my Craftsman toolbox...had it for 10 years in my basement shop. The top is all tools, the bottom except for the first drawer is wire, parts, etc...I do computer repair, phone and data wiring, etc., so all the tools for that stuff I keep in various tool bags to take to jobs.

I really like it, it gives me ALOT more room compared to the Macsimizer. The slides on the Mac were smoother but it seems to me they were a little bit stiff when it was new too.
I'm getting used to the drawer layout still, but all the extra drawers really helped me organize my stuff. As it is I've got a couple empty drawers right now so it has plenty of room to grow. I'm definitely happy I traded for it.

I've been meaning to do this forever, and finally remembered to take the camera out to the shop. However...
In my haste to photograph the tools, I forgot to get an overall shot of the toolbox! It's your standard 3-piece 26" wide Craftsman bottom box, with an intermediate and a top unit to match. The bottom 3 drawers are extra deep so I made an insert drawer that hangs on the top lip to better utilize the space. The insert drawer can be easily taken out or slid to the front or back to gain access to the drawer bottom.
Pictures are going from top to bottom. Note, I'm very proud of that 3/8" drive Fleet set, my grandfather gave that to me when I was 5, so that I could work on my bicycle. It was the first 'real' set of tools that I ever owned and I treasure it dearly;
At this point downwards, just about everything you see is Craftsman brand, the drawer liner is an open weave mat that keeps everything in place nicely;
Top drawer of intermediate box;
Top drawer of bottom box, socket rails are Craftsman, black for inch. gray for metric;
Insert box to hold crowfeet & Whitworth;
Insert box with 3/8" impacts;
Insert box for automotive tools;

Please do! Thanks for posting that box, I've been interested in one for a while, in orange but for some reason the price seems to scare me, but then again all new Matco boxes do. Lista offers so much more for the money, but I do dig that layout/design.

That is AWESOME! It can't be a real ad... I worked for a JD dealer for 5-6 years. I would have loved to see that! haha!
Here are SOME of my work toolbox pics. I've been trying for a couple of days but for some reason it only lets me do 3 or 4 pics before dying. I will never understand how computers can work perfect some days and other not work worth a you know what.
