My turn

Old set up Craftsman 11 drawer combo. Picked up the bottom and repainted it and the top box on clearance. Sold both of those which more than paid for my new used box, A Beach 12 Drawer roller. The Beach is sooo much nicer than my craftsman's I am really impressed.

Anyway I really need more storage and it looks like Im going to have to build vertically. Does anyone have any suggestions for 27inch class boxes? I looked through sears but the stuff seemed over priced and I dont really know where else to look.

Have not shown my tools/been active on this site for a year now, figured I'd give an update. I'm 16 and have been adding to my tool collection for 3 years now. There's a lot of Harbor Freight stuff along with Craftsman. The red HF box is mine, the red/black c-man was my dads, which he let me use for now. I squeezed his tools into a small kennedy box. All these tools are mine, and not my dads. It's not like I like the Harbor Freight stuff, but it does what I need and all I can afford. I figured I'd have to end with a few pics of what I need the tools for: My newly aquired truck-98 GMC Sierra, and my 2 snowmobiles-05 polaris xc sp 500 and 99 polaris xc 700. Whoever guesses what the red oval sticker says on my extended cab window gets a pat on the back!

With all the power tools and gadgets these days, I bet you see more of these on the market...a bolt-on shutter door side cabinet with power strip. Simple to make. Linda....I'd love to see something like this from Lista in 22" and 28" widths (15" deep) for use with Lista cabinets and workstations.

Sent her a pm already.

Is it me or should she have waited for a response before she decided it was ok to put them up? They better be taken down ASAP or a call to corporate is in order.

I think its just you. A call to corporate? Are you serious? If you don't want people to see your pictures, don't post them up on the internet.
This is the only board where I see so many grown men act like sissies... on a forum for garages and tools!

My issue is not with my pictures being online, it is with Facebook / uploading my pictures to Facebook. Don't really want to get into it, so I'll leave it at that.

Like I said, my issue is not with sharing ideas and posting pictures on here or many other forums I frequent, it is with Facebook. I want no part of that website, nor do I want any of my pictures up there.

Then DON'T POST THEM ON THE INTERNET. You post a picture here, it shows up there. Get real, did you just buy your first computer, or just want something to whine about?
Rhetorical question, don't answer.

If he doesn't want HIS photos on Facebook that's his choice. Nobody else has to understand it or like it, that's irrelevant. What does matter is that his OK should have been received before his photos were used somewhere else, basically for advertisement. It would have been common courtesy to get his approval before using them in my opinion.

Exactly.

It doesn't matter if you, me or anybody else is correct or not. You can be as snide and judgmental as you want and exhibit as much typical Internet behavior as you like. It doesn't mean anything and your opinion doesn't matter. As far as using another person's photos go it's between the two parties involved and that's it. I would have no issue with somebody using my pictures but these aren't mine. Realistically this entire thing should have been handled via PM.

Not sure why you're posting then?

If you don't want your pictures posted elsewhere, don't post them. Simple. Not too difficult to understand, is it? Then again, some people (women?) got to have something to whine about.:lol_hitti:lol_hitti:beer::lol_hitti

Again, that's just your opinion and it doesn't matter. It is clear that you see the Internet as a place where decency and manners don't need to exist. Maybe it's some kind of outlet for you, I don't know, doesn't matter. Fortunately most people on the web do treat one another respectfully. You keep bringing up whining but you might want to read your posts over because you definitely seem to be the person doing the most complaining.

Looks like we were posting at the same time. I can undersatand you have your reasons for not wanting something of yours posted on FB. The problem is that you have pictures posted on a public forum with no disclaimer attached to them. It's really no different than you reposting this picture of a car here. http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=111297&page=4 I'm sure you did not ask for premission to do so. Maybe that manufacture has an issue with GJ and would rather not have a picture of their car posted.

Instead of making this a public issue, you should have just quietly PM's Linda to remove your picture.

Hopefully we'll see more pictures of some more boxes.

Pm was sent, no response as of yet. Was going to give her a few days to take care of it.

As far as the other thread, I quoted someone else's post, irrelevant.

How would you feel if I took a picture of yours, pretty much turned it into a billboard or other advertisement of which you wouldn't ever see a penny?

Same concept, no?

Well two things. I agree this should have all been handled via PM but that PM should have started with Lista asking his permission to use the photos.

Him using a found web photo on a forum, right or wrong, is different than a company using somebody's photo without asking. His ultimate goal is for entertainment value, theirs is to generate revenue.

I agree that Linda should have receiver permission first, and done it through a PM. I don't see it any different as far as using a public picture without ant disclaimer. I don't know how Lista is using this picture. I'm not on FB myself. It could be for entertainment if they have it posted as how their customers are using their products. Still a subtle form advertising though.

Remember the question was asked if by pl Silverado if it anyone else though it was a big deal and apparently not everyone else thinks so. In other words, don't ask a quaetion if you may not like spome of the answers.

Go ahead, I don't care. If I did I would not post any pictures on a public forum without a discliamer. Besides I thought it was an issue with FB not Lista making a profit from you pictures.

Yes blane, I think you and I agree more than not on this issue. I doubt his pictures are going to be a huge revenue generator for them, but that's beside the point.

More boxes with drawer shots please.

Thanks!

The extensions are held by magnets.

Sorry about the humongous size of the pic. I fixed it in my post (different link).

No, not really. However, I could never get the crows feet rails to stay in place very well. They also use magnets. I really need to switch to magnets with a screw hole, so I don't need to glue them to the rail...

What Cart is that ?? And it all looks nice and polished up

Dont make me post a pic of my socket draw :pimpflash

It's a KRSC40FPC but I switched out a bunch of drawers with another cabinet. I need to take some pics of the whole thing...

The pic was taken for a tool organization article in some magazine a couple of years ago. Hence the polish :bounce:
