Are the Hazet screwdrivers good ones. I have some made in the USA craftsman that are gettin the creepin crud on the handles again just lookin to replace them gettin tired of foolin with them.

Not really, just don't have them all online. The bottom is pretty much full and only about the four most top drawers are not full. Didn't figure everyone would want to look at 30 pics.

It's the 30" deep box, so the drawers are 26.5".

Your box does something my KRL Snap-on won't do. Which irritates me from time to time.
I cannot get my Hammer collection into a shallow drawer. How deep are your shallow drawers?

Shallow drawers are 2.25", my larger dead blows/mallets are in one of the 5.25" deep drawers:

And well, I'd like to welcome you all to my drawers. I've found this thread sometime in November 2010 and became a member in Jan 2011. Since that time I've been meaning to post in this thread, I feel like it is a right-of-passage for the GJ'ers.
I even snapped photos of my old setup but just never got around to uploading them.
So, here's what I started out with as an 18 year old wrenching hobbiest:
So that's that. In about February 2011 I sold off the Craftsman and the HF AND a bunch of my secondary tools and got one a these off Craigslist for $250:
I absolutely HATED it. I never had time to take pictures of it. I think I turned around and sold it for $120.
So I decided, alright, I have a chance to do things over again, I'm gonna take everything I've learned and move forward sensibly.
Well here we are today, Friday the 9th, and I couldn't be happier with my setup:
I got the two off of two different Craigslist ad's. The top and the intermediate each have their own story behind them and now I could never part with them. The people I got these from are absolutely amazing and for each purchase I sat and talked with each of the guys for an hour at least. Sometimes it's not about the tools. These guys just sat down and told me great life lessons and what it means to be happy.
But anyway..

What's nice is that I can open up a row of drawers and have most of the stuff I need done in just that row

I have more tools than I have box space.. so all of my stuff lookslike a teenager's room. But I know exactly which drawer everything is in.
You just have to dig for it. I need one of those big blue ones, from the
top of this page.

It was all the little things that just added up. The hinges to hold up the lid were not only flimsy, they were engineered poorly in my opinion. I'm no pro and I truly try to care for my box.. one day when I went to close the lid, the hinges snagged and the whole thing bowed out. I'd say that the GRIPLATCH is a pro, but the con is that you have to keep your tools far away from the latches. I often had a small screwdriver or something roll underneath the latch when the drawers were closed and it often caused the drawer to stick shut.
One last problem I had was that the paint was really thin and it doesn't take much to get down to the bare metal. It had just started to rust out of those scratches in the short time I had it.
As you can see though, I still have an affinity for craftsman boxes. The top and middle I have now were produced in the 90's and it is no joke that they made the boxes out of thicker gauge steel back then. The friction drawers I actually really love and haven't thought much of ball bearing since.
Also I'm a sucker for the old school look of it

Maybe I missed it singlecut but are you planning on putting your box (and vise!) up on a work bench or leaving these on the floor? Just curious.

Yup, it's a future project. Gonna build me my dream workbench, put some overhead lighting, slap a Hakko 936 on the table, get an oscilloscope, mount the vise, get a bench grinder..get a TRD Tacoma someday.. it's all expansive. The dream never stops! But for right now I need that vise to be stand alone so that I can carry it out onto the driveway and beat on stuff without waking up my mother upstairs. I'm actually in the process of packing everything up and moving and cleaning up the tools was one of the things I needed to do.
Yup. I actually found this forum searching for socket holders. I tried this and that and everything but wasn't really satisfied with anything so I fabbed up those holders in the top area. Then I made holders for the adapters and swivels. Then I made more socket holders. The top middle draer's sockets actually lift out. then I made a screwdriver holder, a wrench divider, rivet dividers, ....
The box came empty, and everything that isn't a tool I fabbed. That pegboard is my most recent addition and I love talking about it

Go to HF, pick up those dollar socket rails. Then go to Lowe's, pick up some 1/8 think U channel. Like this:
Get some spraypaint and rivets while you're there.
Then:
Then go back to Lowe's and get yourself a heap of aluminum angle stock, some steel angle stock and some flat stock.

You need to pick up a couple of these and use the boxes to hold your pop rivets and other loose hardware.

Oh, and I forgot... cool layout.
so heres my setup at work, mastercraft box,(SO decals-i can dream) with bynford sidebox. i plan on converting my cart to a portable work bench/station, and get a service cart with some drawers and a lid, was looking for the 7 drawer napa cart everyone was raving about, but must not be available here up in canada, so im looking at the bynford one, any other suggestions for around that price range?
