I have the 3/8" trays in metric and fractional, as well as the hex/torx tray. After Christmas I'll get the 1/4" trays and the 1/2" trays. May get another set of 3/8" trays for my impact sockets too.

Well at some point the tools become lodged on the under side of the neighboring drawers... you open the drawer, reach in, and hope you sharp stuff hasn't made its way to where you are looking.

That box is so ahead of its time I'm just making things up as I type.

He hit it with a 2000 Dodge 1500 4wd. Brake line was rusted out and he came in to fast for the situation. He is going to replace both the cart and the box. Real stand up guy when it comes to things of this nature.

So then he got some speed and then hit your cart? Cause I can push my cart with my truck with specials speeds if I slowly roll into it.

yup the triangle sockets and lowes pliers are the most obvious...god knows tons more of it is from the hot deals thread too

Sorry about that. Since your boss has agreed to replace both, why not ask for the cash instead and think about upgrading both? Seems like a great opportunity.

If your boss will give you the cash, you can find some amazing deals these days on used boxes. Nicest carts I've seen are the MAC high end carts with the slide open tops. They list $879..but used about $300-$400. It's great to be able to open the top to your cart to access the tools and still have the flat top area to put something down while you're working:

There are other quality carts, but these are my favorite. And I'd look for a Snap-on KRL series box, preferably with a stainless top if you don't use a top box.

Sounds like a good guy to work for. Time to start scouring Craig's List. If I were you, I'd be checking every local CL within about 200 miles, at least a few times a day. Have cash on hand, and be ready to move fast when the right deal comes up.

Its my black cart and i believe it is 1" square tubing with 1 7/8" exhaust clamps. If i remember ill snap some pix of it monday. I do remember when i drilled the holes through the square tubing i drilled them so the exhaust clamps barely fit through the holes, so they didn't move.

Ill also try to get some inside shots of the box monday.
