I had outgrown my old toolbox and wanted something a little "different" for my garage remodelling project. I'm a Ford guy so this one fit the bill for me. Show us what you've got.

This thread would be a lot better if it was "LETS SEE YOUR TOOLBOX" (with your wife or girlfriend standing next to it in a tubetop and some hoochie shorts) Just sayin...........

I finally decided to go a quick search and see what these things go for online. I dont need one but I do like it simply for the "cool" factor. $600 to $800 brand new! Wayyyy outta my price range... I'll keep an eye out for one at the swap meets....

there is my updated before i had left my work for vacation at Gulf Shore, Alabama a week... the day before i left for vacation, my work was too slow and not enough works for all almost 28 techs ( i had been on list for my turn as i was number 10..)

so i decided to do some change around my work space.. i had been work with those for almost 2 years and i just dont like to have two main boxes in two places and it make me a little crazy to look either boxes to find what i need or need use the bench but my tool was at snap on box..

so i decided to clean it up and moved it around to make it fit without make other techs move or upset... but when i did changed it, all techs do like my idea and said it is good idea... they said it is fine with them..

the picture that i have show the difference between pictures..

the problems is i am tool freak at my work and sometime techs will ask ,e if i has a tool for the reason, i told him "yes but why need to use mine as you dont buy any tools recently?"... sometime they would say they either dont know that they really need it or they just dont have money to buy....

some of them thought i has lot and lot of tools debt on tool trucks, i told them "no, the reason why i has tons of tools is i buy a used one or better deal with buy combo when someone sell that need a money really bad)... i has ZERO debt with tool trucks right now because i had paid off before year end... except my home mortgage and other bills.. it is take care of it on time when i get the bills on emails.. i am control my budgets..

i am glad that i had installed the two extra swivel casters on middle of my KRL1003 because i was tried to moved the snap on combo boxes, it was too heavy SOB to move...

anyway, there is a updated of my toolboxes at largest ford shop. i had been switch few tool carts (i had matco MSC12 as i love it but not work out as it took more space, so i bought a masterforce 36" wide drawers box, i had use and work harder on it but after three times fall down by other techs' fault that they moved it. so i had decided to brought a retired heavy line cart (matco MSC4 that i had beat it to hell but still hold up)

the reason i bought used boxes and carts so i dont worry about scratches or dirty on it( i am still do wipe and clean it when i has a chance)

also there is some techs would call me a the great walls like the Great wall of China....

Re: Knit Garments Manufacturers

I really like how you store your Cleco's I use them alot on race car bodies so I don't have to worry about FOD,but I still might steal that idea, thanks

Wow.... that is COOL. I've never seen anything like that before. Does it close? Does the bottom part stack on the top? How ?

I bought mine used, but there are not a lot of cheap used ones out there, either.

That is ... friggin! Awesome!

I always thought so, and I don't have a ton of tools, so I went for it!

The light makes it supacool, too!

You're welcome to it. Even if you don't have the FOD issue to worry about , it's still nice to know you have all your clecos when you finish a job. Tools are too expensive to not keep track of.

Can someone explain what exactly a cleco is? :D

holds body panels in place so you can line them up before using a rivet to permanently attach the panels. kinda like a rivet you can put in place and take out without having to pop the rivet in and drill it out. you just use a pair of cleco pliers to put them in and take them out

Mine is a sliding scale of organization from top to bottom, but I'm not worried as I'll be moving into a 56"er as soon as it gets delivered.

Hi guys, i posted a photo of my box a few months back as i recieved it. It needed abit of work but i paid £600 for it, which is fairly cheap over here. Its a KRL761. Il add that ive just turned 20, so starting out really, nothing is on finance, everything just bought outright, i hate being in debt. I used to work for my father, doing servicing, repairs and manufacture on large recycling equipment , mostly balers (upto 200 tonne ram force), shaft shredders, high speed trim cutters, granulaters and compactors. Last week i started as site engineer at a local company that we have alot of our own equipment in, so i service and repair the equipment listed above aswell as basic services and repairs on plant machineary, such as forklifts, teletrucks and excavators. First impressions are that im really enjoying, and the bigger pay packet sure is a bonus!

Im getting close to filling my box, still enough room for whats on my current wish list, although im sure i will have added to it alot more after a few more weeks in the new job!

Ok, so, my box, i had my buddy who makes top end bespoke kitchens make a top for me for 50 bucks, hell of alot cheaper than snap on and its solid beech so really looks the part, just need to finish off fitting the rest of the black drawer edge trims.
