Here's my setup. The Matco box contains most of my automotive related stuff, and the Craftsman has some misc. pipe wrenches, plumbing stuff and just generally misc. stuff.

Since these have been taken, I finally finished filling my Hansen trays with the rest of my impact sockets, took the grinders out of the box and set them up with a wire wheel and a grinding disc, and added my CMan Pro combo wrenches to the Matco box. I have to do some more organizing for sure, and I definitely have a few gaps, but I feel I'm pretty well set for most run of the mill stuff that I'll encounter with my stuff.

"I have never seen that way of keeping your extensions straight. I really like that! I will have to see if I can configure my drawer to allow something like that."

How do you organize your extensions? Not sure how else you would do it.... Do you mean using a socket rail?
Yes, the socket rail. I just currently have my extensions laying next to my ratchets. It seems like everyone uses them, I just never noticed it. I am just a hobbiest so I have never actually seen any real nice boxes in person.

This is my setup. This will change quite a bit tomorrow as it will be warm enough to get outside and transfer some of my stuff into the new top box I just bought.

I needed more storage so it was time for a locker. Now I need time to rearange everything. That is the part I hate about new tool storage.

The rails work great. This is a before photo of how my drawer was setup.

And now it is set up like this. I almost never use SAE so they got moved to the bottom drawer in the top box.

Long Drawer...All Metric as that is what I use 99.9% of the time

Bottom drawer, top box. SAE and extra ratchets and extensions.

I just bought a Craftsman grey and red top box last night and have it sitting on the Task Force bottom box I got for Christmas. Now I need to sell my old top box and the bottom box that came with the grey/red one.

The set I'm using:

The set I need to clean and hopefully sell for a profit, or at least break even on:

How do you like the top box?? (And the side box while I'm asking..)

I've got the 13 drawer, and since they seem to be going with the gloss finish instead, I was thinking of picking these up to complete the box before they're all gone.

I like them. They are the exact same quality as the main box. As long as you are happy with the drawer layout, then I would go for it. Many of the stores are running out of the wrinkle finishes, so if you want them to match you will have to hurry.
