Just added the top box to the 40" roll cab. I know its Cman and not many are fans anymore, but it sure works for me and have had 0 problems with any of my boxes. Still have to fill it up, just got the liners cut and put in!

Myboostedgst, where did you get the tray the wrenches are in?
That is the tray organizer that comes from Harbor Freight. I found it right next to the box when I was checking it out in the store. They specifcally designed it so it fits snug in the drawer. Only thing I wish is that they got rid of the hex key spots and put in one more holder for wrenches.

I don't see it on the website. And they didn't have them at the store I stopped at today. Bummer. Thanks!

EDIT: Found them and at Northern Tool. Also a similar tray for sockets.

Is the finish on that epiq painted/powder coated? Or is it actually stainless steel?

47 inch "euro" chest from Canadian Tire. It's a Mastercraft maximum chest which is their pro line.

Works great for what I purchased it for. Boxes in background are the bosses boxes at the shop

I work for a contracting company with heavy equipment, dump trucks and pickup trucks. I do most of the work on the trucks(also a CDL driver) and tinker on my own junk on the weekends. Boxes are full with air tools, ratchets, sockets, wrenches, welding gear.. Blah blah blah.

HI,

new to forum and looking for my first tool chest combo. Considering the US general because of the cost.

I'm wondering...what brand are these above?

Looks like the Masterforce from Menards http://www.menards.com/main/tools-h...n-tool-chest-and-cabinet/p-1710435-c-9188.htm

Do a search in this thread and the 'General Tool Dicussion' thread and you will find plenty of info on HF 13 drawer. I have one myself, and I love it! Great value for the money  Welcome to GJ, btw.

So here is my new International Toolbox. Its a big step up from a Craftsman with steel glides. Be gentle...I'm just starting out!

I'm considering an international too. Mostly because of the 24" depth...but it is twice the money of the HF box...

Thanks for the welcome!

I am leaning toward the HF. They're right up the street. Right now I'm struggling with the finish issue on a 42" combo they have like 12 wrinkle finished rollers and only gloss finish tops.. However, I'm considering the 56" now, but I don't think HF makes a 56" top cabinet. The international 56" I can get for like $1500 for the combo roller and top chest.

The bottom cabs alone are about $250 apart...I'm wondering if the extra 2" is worth it and if I'm willing to live without a matched top cab

I hate the HF finish also...I got my International for $239 on sale for Sears.com... I love it but I thinks it on pare with the HF...I person didn't want give HF that kind of money. You can find International on sale at Sears if you can wait...just don't buy them from Amazon!

HF does not make a top for the 56...

Its been a while since the last time I posted pics of my box, and a lot has been added

Did you banish all the clear CM screwdrivers to the outside of the box because of their unique aroma? :)

I think I'll have to give some Matco screwdrivers a try, seeing as how I dig a lot of your other tool choices.

I actually haven't smelled that aroma everyone talks about. I just put them out of the box because there is no room in the box and I use them more as pry bars than anything

That's a nice little cart. I'm in the look out of a small cart to place tools on while working in the shop. It's a pain rolling my entire chest around with me!
