Hi guys. Been lurking here for a while but I had a reason to post today. Picked up my new KRA2055 top chest today. I'm an auto glass installer so this is overkill by a huge margin for what I need, but I've wanted one of these boxes for a long time. So first pic is the my old and busted plastic cman box that was so full i couldn't close the lid or drawers, and had **** spread out all over my van. Now its as neatly organized as I can right now. Also got a full set of 3/8 drive, 1/4 drive metric sockets, and a soft grip 3/8 drive ratchet. To say I was excited today would be a bit of an understatement.

Very nice. It's always exciting to get new stuff that makes your life easier.

Well its been quite some time since I posted a photo so I removed my old ones and will give some nice shinny new ones.

Before I begin, I have changed jobs since the last time I posted. I run a job shop now which is super fun love doing it every day. I used to have a far bit more then whats in the box now, My new EX-Wife thought she needed some new cloths and that I had to many tools. So one day while I was out on a service call she came and took a large sum of tools out of my box and sold them. she took around 15K in tools (Air Electrical test large sockets) and sold them for around 1K Which are now gone and I cant do **** about it besides buy them all again.

So I apologize for the blank spots in the box as well as the weird angles the lathes are right in the darn way lol

Where it now sits, off to the side of my 3 main lathes.

I respect my ex-wife everyday for how cool she was through the divorce and the fact that she didnt touch or care about my tools or harley's( and I didnt care about her jewelry or handbags).

I recently bought my first tool cabinet for my garage. I have been operating with carry tool cases and trolleys for 30 years but now I bought a real (smallish) tool cabinet. And then I got some organizers for it after learning about them on the forum.

So, I got my tools somewhat organized few days ago, here are few photos. I need to figure out some kind of system for my screwdrivers though.

Top shelf:

2nd one:

Metric wrenches:

Pliers and screwdrivers:

SAE wrenches and other stuff:

And the medium size SAE wrench set:
se8778.jpg

TQ wrenches:

And out of boxes:
b4x6ye.jpg

Hammers etc.

I also have full height metal cabinet for spare parts, air tools etc which do not fit the actual tool cabinet.

I posted earlier and when I look at this thread I keep an eye out for a member with another. NHRA Inaugural Running tool box. There's only 150 of em...it'd be cool if another member on here had another one! The sigs are supposed to be real, if they are it's great for a drag racing fan like myself!

They are real. At least thats what the MAC tool truck driver told me. They where the top fuel NHRA drivers under MAC sponsorship at the time. I always wanted to see another tool box out of this series to see if the sigs look different. They look real when you look at them.

ELECTRIC BANANA

I need to post updated pics. Even with a full cart, the box is now packed full.

I respect my ex-wife everyday for how cool she was through the divorce and the fact that she didnt touch or care about my tools or harley's( and I didnt care about her jewelry or handbags).

X2. The ex didn't touch my personal belongings and I didn't touch hers.

Good friend who is in his 70's was a hot rodder and professional mechanic in the 60's and early 70's and gave me his work tool box. I had some friends redo and repaint it, as good as new, offered it back to my friend redone, but he wouldn't accept it back, and so it now has a home proudly in my shop.

Who makes those blue micro screwdrivers? US made, right? I can probably search and find it on here before you can answer.

would you recommend the bahco ratcheting screwdriver (bottom left on the picture)? I am asking myself if I should add that to my order.

First time posting...so here we go.

Craftsman Top Chest. This is my collection box. All the Snap-On tools in the box are either "New" or "NOS". The ratchets have never had a socket on them and all the handles are original to the ratchet. The orange handled ratchets started this obsession and Ebay fueled the fire.

Picked up the box for $80 at Sears. It was new with a "damaged drawer" according to the tag. The drawer pull, which you lift to open the drawer, was slightly tweaked. A slight adjustment to the drawer pull and I had a perfect box for a quarter of the price of one off the shelf. :ninja:
